@RYK , love both of those pieces...the cc piece has an awesome look, but every time I find one with that look it has a “hold” or “sold” sign next to it.
Doug Winter has designated this RPM as variety 3, but it really should be designated as a major red book variety since it’s visible with the naked eye and is no different than the 1846 and 1848 D/D. According to Doug Winter’s book, there are only about 4-5 known.

Harry Bass, as with many varieties, identified this variety and had one in his set.
There is actually a variety 4 with a hand engraved mint mark. This feature is not published anywhere to my knowledge, perhaps in DWs update New Orleans book.
Sorry, not US gold, but this 4 escudos is unique with this single example documented dating back to Jose Toriba Medina in the early 1900’s, passed to Norweb, Rudman and MrE.

I"m working on a date set of these in AU55-MS64 grade-
And I have one of these in a PCGS PR69 slab.
Nice, so am I. Not many coins needed to complete and very affordable. except for that one 11 strong D.
But as you see I already got derailed because anything gold is good.
The $10 Indians have my attention they are beautiful though I prefer the attitude (expression) of the $5 Indian.
Really, they all look good and especially the $20 hot chick in the garden, what what?! Okay okay she falls more into elegance factor like the liberty, jus sayin.

There are some nice coins here. I especially like the 1795 small eagle $5. @RYK is buying DOGs again..... everything is right with the world again.
Here's something common, but really fun to look at:

I recently picked up a couple of new DOGs in OGHs from CRO...
@Wahoo554 I couldn’t find O/O in the price guide. What’s the story on that?

What would a unique US Eagle be worth?

Oh man, you just broke out the goods. That 1792 is something else.
This one has wonderful toning:
Great gold thread, you know it is good when an early CC DE is one of the least impressive coins. Happy Thanks giving all

@crazyhounddog your 1877-S QE is gorgeous. I love the peach toning.
That dirty, raw Charlotte dollar from my thread about buying when your dealer strongly suggests you buy something.

I'm planning to submit this coin to our hosts for PL consideration (was previously in a small ANACS slab as 62PL)
Who doesn't love a gold thread?
My favorite generic, even when looking at higher grades. The coin shimmers...
