@NGS428 thank you. Like most of the cards nowadays 10’s are out of my price range lol. If they’re centered decently than I’m happy. Your Griffey sets are awesome btw
Two more Nomar's back from as my nephew calls them "new blankies" ( new slabs). I have 4 more but waiting until the slots are added and I can put them in the registry before showing them.
I've been friends with Josh's dad for almost twenty years. He's a really good guy. I don't think you can go wrong with Josh,he's going to do great things.
Funny story, about five or six years ago after Josh graduated from high school he didn't receive a single D1 offer and had to enroll at a local JC. About half way through the season his dad comes into my shop and I ask how is Josh doing? His dad looked me in the eye and said well,Josh has decided he's going to play on Sundays. I almost spit out my soda and laughed in his face. I didn't know what to say so the first thing that came to mind was do you think he can do it? He looked at me and said if anyone can do it,Josh can!
As a lifelong 49ers fan I never thought I would be Bills Mafia, haha
These are a few of my Non Sports pickups for the past week:
First we had an unopened Hanging pack of 1972 Hitmakers Rock & Pop cards.
Because the packing was so worn and dirty it was a no Brainer to crack the Cards out. Didn't hold a lot of hope as to the Cards, but was pleasantly surprised that 7 of them are going to Ca. Most of these the Highest graded currently is 5-7, I think I can better that!
Next up is a 1939 Gum Inc. War News Pictures #81, should be solid EX minimum.
Then a 1941 Gum Inc Uncle Sam #9, hoping for a NM 7 on this one.
Next Two Aviator Strip cards from the 1930's (Still need to do the Research to pin down the exact set! These should grade out as 7's, maybe 8's!
Next a 1949 Turf 20 Famous Film Stars Double card w/tabs #37/44. This will be the first 20 Double sent to PSA, but I have the Checklist and other documentation and they already grade the 1949 Turf Cigarettes Single Subject cards in this set from the packs of 10 cigarettes!
Next a lot of 1959 Fleer 3 Stooges. Found 11 of them I think can pull 6's, about the cut-off point for moving them out!
@galaxy27 Congrats on the Campbell run and @LGC that Gretzky is gorgeous! There are some really great pickups lately in this thread, its pretty cool to see Larry,Moe & Curly make an appearance.
These are some oddball Jordan's fresh back from BGS. I was hoping for 8+ on the Bulls schedules and at least a 9 on the Come Fly With Me Video Redemption so pretty happy all around on this sub. The slabs used were bigger than expected though you can't tell by the pics.
For obvious reasons, this one is a special get for me. That said, it is also pretty much self explanatory. And if the club had 400 or fewer members as stated, then these would probably be not that easy to find - for either one of these related pieces. Fond of both but the 'premium photo' is so pristine for being so old. I simply love stuff like this...LOVE IT!

Eric, great pickups! I love how the schedules look in the BGS holders.
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach
Card is beautiful man!! Brown looks like he could run through a brick wall. Agree how undervalued.

The Big Nasty.... this dude in PSA 9 is simply undervalued.......I predict his prices will correct...he's only like the Babe Ruth of Running Backs.

Great stuff everyone
Not thee Jeter Rc but a cool card none the less. Soto’s going to be a problem for MLB pitchers for a long time
The man went off again tonight. Home runs #3 & #4 w/ one going 466ft. Dayum.
There's some guy here that bought into Soto way early and has most of the rare stuff on lock down.

This is the only instance where presenting item(s) on a multi-coloured carpet background actually makes a positive difference. Congrats on that and the items!

Some Rookie pickups. Happy with the centering in the Aikman and Emmitt
@rookiecardfan your name holds true. Obviously I love the Griffey, that Emmitt is a beauty. Always loved that one.

after 6 years of searching, i finally tracked down a 79 rack with the Oilers T/L card on top...
at long last, the only four Topps cards that Earl Campbell appeared on during his playing career...
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Nice, inexpensive old school flip ‘72 pickup...
Congratulations Stephen! Your 1979 rack pack collection is a thing of beauty!
I had these waiting for me when I came back from vacation.
You’re killing me Smalls!
I know not sports, but I love Pearl Jam. The 2013 pack can be difficult to find.
