Picked this up a while back, but just getting around to scanning. Happy to locate one of his nice early full sigs over his more recent scribbles, even if the sig quality isn't great ...
I'm also a big fan of sport crossovers, so this one was perfect for me.
The second half of the Tek scans. Guerrero is for a project , Boggs and Piazza for resale. Jeter also resale once I get the slab fixed. They failed to notice obvious slab "issue" ( front of slab by his foot the white squiggly wave- part of slab itself)
Will handle thru customer service as always.

If you have seen me post then you know I really enjoy the type of items that are harder to find. I love Topps and Bowman, too, but sometimes things just scream at you and you have to listen. Anyhow, you won’t see this one every day. Probably my favorite non Yankee baseball player and probably a top 5-10 player all time, he’s the reason why Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. is the second best player to come out of Donora, PA.

I don't know the who, what or why behind this recent Michael Jordan frenzy but I was more than happy moving on from some of my PC items that I had no real attachment too and decided to put those funds towards a big purchase, for me anyways. Years ago I sold off my raw 1980 Topps Bird/Magic/DrJ rookie with the intent to someday replace it and for the past couple months i've been looking for a decent copy regardless of TPG or grade. This one had exactly what I was looking for, very good centering across the board, no print marks around Dr.J & Magic and even though there was the slightest visibility of the black line right at the bottom edge of the card under the N in Johnson,I was more than happy with the minor edge dings visible. Not to mention best of all it was slightly larger than 2.5" x 3.5". I may make one PSA 7 crossover attempt down the line at some point but I'm totally fine with it as-is,this was definitely a buy the card not the holder purchase.

Big scoop for my Rawlings run. I can’t stress enough how hard to find these can be and harder still in ‘clean’ condition (no pinholes or tears). They’re the free poster that came with the glove! Most lived in kids bedrooms on cork board or closet door city!

One of the better feelings I get collecting: finding a 2 that looks identical on the front to slightly overgraded 7— promptly sell 7 to buy more cards I don't have in collection

Beautiful. How is that only a 2?
Thx! It has some kind of residue on the reverse, but it doesn't affect the legibility of anything which is a plus. Either it was in a scrapbook or it's really heavy wax/gum, can't tell.

Sweet cards Matt and glad to see you back on here posting again.
Back to collecting again. I sold off all my cards and started collecting just 1948 Leaf Football cards a few months ago. They are my new favorite. Starting with the first series. So many great players and a few interesting card variations.

Beautiful 53 Mantle. I realized that although I have about 10-15 raw versions of this card, I figured I should go ahead and pick up a graded version.
Those are as good as it gets for the grade. The centering/eye-appeal is off the charts. The image quality on that 53 looks like it just came out of the pack. Congrats.

Very pleased to add this PSA 8 Bench to my collection. This card in my opinion would not look out of place in PSA 9 holder. The marks you see on the bottom right of the card are on the case.

I said what the heck and decided to pick up another one. I've been seeing prices starting to get strong again. Just such a beautiful looking copy too of what many believe is to already be an iconic card within the hobby.
