1798 BB-104/B-22 is not overall uncommon, but is mostly huddled in the F/VF range. XF becomes difficult and AU truly very rare. The acceptable (to me) X scratch on Liberty holds it back. Still a major condition rarity for the die pair. Only one mint state specimen (PCGS MS61). I know of a PCGS AU55, but have not seen other AU examples. But there are apparently an NCG AU55 (perhaps the same coin) and a PCGS AU53.

Always wanted one of these Victor D Brenner-designed Lincoln bronze plaques. This one has a bit of white cleaning residue but I still was happy to get it in a non-traditional (not a coin auction per se) auction.
I needed another one of these like the Pope needs condoms...but the serial number is spot on!

This one just arrived yesterday from DWN. Doug finds coins I really like. I posted the TVs in another thread. Here are some very non-professional shots. I hope to bring a few of my Early gold pieces to the 2023 Central States show to let a professional take a stab at it.

Found 2 more holders for my Morgan date set. Easy set to assemble except for 1 caveat….every coin is in a different generation PCGS holder. Getting harder to find a date I need in the holder I need.

Generation 2.1 (without PCGS).
I already have a 2.1 but it has PCGS at the top of the label so this is a variation of the 2.1.
.

Generation 5.0 Not a particularly hard one to still find, but it’s been difficult to find one in which the hologram on the back is still intact.
A somewhat harder coin to find with a full horn, especially in the VF grade.

This is already a unique coin but this particular example holds an even more unique position than most based on it's grade, PCGS has graded 81 of these and this example is one of only 3 graded below AU53 and is the sole example in VF30, every other one has a higher grade, up to MS67RB, so it has a PCGS pop of 1!
These restrikes rarely saw any circulation, they were snapped up by collectors pretty quick, and most surviving pieces are MS, that's what I like so much about this one, is that it actually saw some commerce, this coin is just chock full of history!!

I know all too well! Its taken me quite a while to build up to buying one of these and I was thinking id have to just bite the bullet and go for an MS63 restrike @$1,500 or so online but I am much happier with this circulated one and the price was a little more acceptable at just a hair over $950... Since I sold my wreath cent a bit ago this is now the single most expensive coin in my collection 😬
My lil pickup for my everyman 19th century type set hardly compares... but I did manage to get it for under list lol
Hey nothing to be sneezed at there! Thats a nice one in 58, my no cents 1883 is VG at best

I looked for a long time for one in this grade; not easy to find (easy in many higher grades, and easy in most lower grades; tough in 25-30). Also not easy to pay for in any grade! It showed up during my routine internet sweep of dealers I like, on Monday, and I snapped it up. I'm pleased!

More then a hole filler less then perfect, but deserving a higher grade then f12 by my eye
but then a higher grade would have cost me twice as much lol...

Oh quite a few nice ones still out there to be had for cheap, my biggest problem is, I've filled all the commons and it's hard to find some dates for under 50.. that 13 being a good example lists for 70 bucks in p1/ag2 was shocked to catch that one
still filling in dates, got an 1810 this weekend as well, but I don't post a lot of the lowballs here but you can see most of them in the gallery link in my sig... (needs to be updated again missing 5-6 at least) I'll throw in the 1810 as well
