On a serious note, with 2020 winding down, this one resonated with me.
Being a volunteer emt many yrs (EMS), I see these folks often, and believe me they are very special, and this was one rough year.

One of my brother-in-laws used to give me his National Lampoon magazines when I was a young teenager. Hilarious and very, very un-PC, to say the least. But they were funny and warped. I loved the story about the kids that would play baseball with toads. I seem to remember that they said the best you could get was a ground-rule double if the largest piece of the toad was less than the original weight.
