We used to pinch the buts off fireflies when they were lit and put them in a jar. If you got enough of them they would make a pretty good light that would last awhile!
A funeral service is being held in a synagogue for a woman who has just passed away. At the end of the service, the pall bearers are carrying the casket out when they accidentally bump into a wall jarring the casket.
They hear a faint moan. They open the casket and find that the woman is actually alive. She lives for 10 more years and then dies.
A ceremony is again held at the same synagogue and at the end of the ceremony the pall bearers are again carrying the casket.
As they are walking the husband cries out, "Watch out for the wall!"
Fifty-one years ago, Herman James, a North Carolina mountain man, was drafted by the Army.
On his first day in basic training, the Army issued him a comb. That afternoon the Army barber sheared off all his hair.
On his second day, the Army issued Herman a toothbrush. That afternoon the Army dentist yanked seven of his teeth.
On the third day, the Army issued him a jock strap. The Army has been looking for Herman for 51 years.
Is a Chevy Nova now considered to be a muscle car?
I graduated high school in 1975. They were considered muscle cars back then.
There were three that were "enhanced" and usually parked together. The girls
sure liked them.

The 396 SS’s probably would be.
Wouldn't they have an "SS" logo on the back of the car? At least that's what I remember.

I didn’t say that the one pictured was a muscle car, but some Novas are.
My brother-in-law’s 1969 Camaro with a 6-cyl engine and Powerglide transmission would not.

We had a party line when I was growing up. When dad was talking business that he didn’t want others to hear he would go into town and use the pay phone.
