So I'm going through my first ever box/case of nickel rolls (as I went through three cases/boxes of pennies so far and found exactly 12 Wheaties in each one)...I'm about a dozen rolls in and only have two from the 50s and none from earlier...I hope that's not a bad sign
Went through a box of nickels last week and I found one worn nickel and two possible struck through nickels. The jury still out on this truck through nickels but the war nickel is definitely a 45 p.
This makes 25 to 30 War Nickels that I've pulled out of rolls from the bank. Amazing after all these years they're still out there. Real surprising that they're still out there just waiting for someone to find them. Good hunting mates.

Thanks @LanceNewmanOCC—I know better, it’s 1988—not 1998—it’s one of the few varieties that I can recognize; I posted pics in that thread. I cannot think with ankle cuff chafe.
Just photo posting practice now—if you all would, does the pic show the initials well enough to give you a confident opinion? Forget about the coin, I screwed up. These photos are better than my usual photos. Thanks for the help.

whenver i do dimes, which isn't often, i usually find a bunch of these and the chips can be scattered at various places all over the obv and rev and often on both sides!
proportionally, if those size chips were on the quarters and halves, they'd bring some NICE premiums!
My bank did not get my half dollar rolls this week. But she had 15 customer wrapped rolls. I am not much of a fan of customer wrapped rolls, but I took them anyways and I am glad I did!! She has 24 more rolls which I will pick up today. Here are the finds from the 15 rolls of Thursday. (probably better then the box would have been!)
The 1966, 1964 and the 1936 were all stacked on top of each other.

Got 30 customer rolls from one of my Denver area Chases today.
I feel like I intercepted a shipment lol.

I see these in about every box. Not as nice though.
This collection of state quarters has a lot of nice examples with heavy strikes, toners and such but I doubt any would get past 66+.
