awe man, i knew i forgot something! i shoudla asked prices for the uggo pile!
i haven't tried to open it yet but i will get around to it here soon and if anything neat happens, i'll post; including if any white powder comes out...
Thanks!
Nope, no PL I'm actually finding plenty that for untouchedness would grade a 68 but are in worn die states and even spots of some very small cladding issues so likely not beyond 67 for those and they're not so eye appealing anyway.

This is a very nice find Joey. I hope that I can find one one day! I have checked 1994 cent reverses for ages and have never found one. Excellent!! A guy at my local coin club has a PCGS MS64 (don't quote me here, It could be a 63 or even a 65) I think. This is a rare and great find, don't underplay this coin. It is rarer than your think! I would be very happy to find such a coin! Not great but still very collectable. ConGrats!!
Found another S mint 2019 quarter. Dumb question, other then appearance/strike, how can you tell the difference between a S Uncirculated/NMC, to an S Proof? Both are the same composition and weight. Maybe it's only appearance, but since they were put into circulation makes it a bit more challenging. This one looks pretty good. Thanks, Joe

.
Very simple-A proof will have a proof surface like the coins in a proof set. A circulation strike will look like any other quarter. It is not difficult to determine the difference.

All those proofs are at least somewhat DCAM so even with heavy wear you can tell.
But sometimes they're so worn it takes a moment to confirm it lol...
I FINALLY got a 2009-D nickel!! I kid you not, I actually gasped when I saw it! Now all I need is the 2009-P nickel and 2009-D dime. Even though the latter will complete my dime collection from 1965-present I should still include a dime roll in my CRHing anyway, right?
And I'm also doing another case of pennies now...you guys reckon finding a 1917 Wheatie in the first roll is a good sign?
@Coinscratch said:
Edit, there is a 94 D ddo as well.
Wow, did not know about that one?
Does it have the same mark's?
Thanks
Apparently no one does except for me I couldn’t find any information on it and realized I’ve been looking at 94 Ds for no apparent reason. I think I was corn fused with the 84 D ddo.
fwiw, i just viewed the V V page and the later stages appear quite difficult to identify in circ or dirty unc and probably need to rely upon secondary diagnostics.
you may desire to set aside all of them for later scrutinization!

A whole bag of Halves.
2000 Halves!
.
how much does it weigh. sheesh
a $1000 of quarters is over 50 pounds. so is halves over 100 ?!??!?!!?!?
any tokens of that size will have a good chance of being worth way more than 50c. that is not a standard size. in fact, even if it were a bag of silver halves, 2000 various half dollar size tokens would most likely still be worth way more. fwiw
well, no white powder, of any kind, thankfully but after some SERIOUS brute strength, just shy of concerns of seriously damaging the item, FINALLY got it to pop open.
just when i was about to call it a game, i felt a little shimmer in the pieces and figured where there is a little, a lot can be created. hehe
kinda surprising as i figured there would be a secret way to open it that required wisdom and tact or perhaps some inhumane adhesive that literally fused the pieces together but not this time...
i literally let out a battle cry of victory when it popped open. haha

My roomie has over 10K in loose pennies and quarters that he has built up over the last 20 years that he wants to sell. They are already sorted into quarters and pennies. He understands he will have to take less than 10K or he has to roll them. What is your opinion, do you think I could hit some nice coins?
Thanks

I just finished my first coin roll hunt in quite a while (around 2 months), a machine wrapped nickel box.
Has anyone else ever found a V-nickel ender (this is my first V-nickel ender although I have found one other V-nickel)?
I also found this dateless buffalo nickel:
