Great Scott! That’s like the odds you would expect in 1975

Only had time for one stop today.
But it may have been the right one cents the since are weighing in as full copper. There’s also a discrepancy in the weight of the three darker quarter rolls, maybe some…
@Steven59
True there were a few zincs mixed in and some cool toners.
Nothing to write home about though.
Here are the finalists, the 85 almost stole the show but has more spots than a rainbow trout.
Now for the quarters.
OK, so I started to weigh half dollar rolls before I open them in hopes of predicting which ones have silver coins in them before opening. I got two rolls that were significantly over weight compared to the rest of the pack. I saved the heavy weights until last. This was the heavy-weight pretending to be a half-dollar:
Here is heavy-weight #2:
I did find 2 40% silver halves also. This is the first walking liberty half dollar that I have found in circulation in 50 years. 1933-S, pretty beat up but still silver! Of course, I gave up CRH along time ago and have just restarted to CRH again in Mar. 2021.

Wow! Nice find Joey! Is it still the same size as a regular penny? Looks like it may be a bit bigger. Congrats!
Thanks
Same size.
Cool! I thought an off-center by that much should start to make the planchet bigger. The only error I've found was this clipped planchet quarter. Missed silver by one year. It has a pretty strong blakesey which is neat.

Found this 92 last night in the tray again.
Too me , the design marks are all over the place according to the closeness of the AM.
I recall someone saying if the A in STATES is centered then this would be the error.

I don't know what you want here. For the 1992 you want the close AM, not the far AM. On the close AM, the letters AM are almost touching. Your coin is the Far AM variety.
Bank #1 Has some very nice 83, 4, and 5s I know this because I checked some enders on the way home, LOL.
Plus now that I’m home a 45 war nickel bulging from one of the rolls.
Bank #2 Assorted home rolled goodies along with four 2009 clear plastic wrapped early childhood rolls. Then a fifth plastic roll which is still a mystery.
Bank #3 More assortment mixed with some rolls that are labeled with the year, that could get interesting.
Bank #4 Is still on a coin shortage 😂
Bank #5 A plain box of home Road probably searched if not they will be soon :-)
In the mid to later 80's the mints had a problem with plating the planchets over zinc dust before they figured it out causing those dreaded "dotted" surfaces. Now does a grading company take points away from that? Or do they take it into consideration the problem the mints had from that time period?

Well I’ve heard (here) that they do count down for those. You couldn’t tell by looking at the CoinFacts 88d and a few others but again maybe they did in fact deduct and they landing on MS68.
Hello, @rec78
Your statement, pointing out, "they must touch (AM) to create a close am".
SPOT ON !
Some say the riffs and non riffs of the designer mark is also a clue. (A Filabuster to me, I just move on) Research.
I really have not gotten involved with this error, other than when they catch my eye. Like a double die, Rev.

This error is quite rare (1992 close AM) and worth adding to your search protocol.
Found this last night in the tray (I'm going to start calling it the cherry tree). Question ?
Was this improperly cleaned or tampered with ? Looks beyond clean too me. Still working on the rev.

I stopped at the bank Saturday, just for kicks & asked if they had any half dollars.
The teller said sure, and brought over a roll.
I'll take it.
Went to the counter glanced inside and went back & asked if she had any more.
Sure, I have two more rolls. I'll take them.
Here is what I had:

@rec78 That 33 is a heck of a find! Glad to see you're back in the game.
The seven lighter colored quarter rolls were solid bicentennial. Still checking for doubled dies.
1992 Close AM? One can only wish.........

Can you imagine?
I wonder if there are other markers, besides the "FG" initials, to detect any 92 Close am's?

Which is correct to determine design of the reverse ?
Wait a second, there's a hickey in the F of the 92. Dam...
