{ Does PCGS recognize these as such? On their labels. And do people actually pay money for this? }
They obviously slab major varieties/errors but for an error label the fee is 60$ (?). Not sure if they slab the minor varieties/errors though. But really who will spend that amount of money to slab a minor error coin that is only worth a few dollars?
This is all I could find on the web-
" PCGS will grade, authentic, and seal in their holders such mint errors as double strikes, capped die strikes, off-center strikes, off-metal planchets, broadstruck out-of-collar coins, and many other major mint errors"
EDIT: Well there's the proof from USSID17
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Some like clashed die varieties and some don't. I would think that PCGS would label these clashed dies at the least and not recognize the variety. I could be wrong. We all know people buy just about anything coin related. I'm sure someone would be a buyer but at how much I'm not sure. They are not for sale at the moment and I realize I'll probably be holding onto them for a while. I had these graded to preserve something I like. The purpose was not for a quick sale. I too wonder what would happen if I listed them on Ebay with no reserve. Could go high or low. Feels good to know I discovered them and they're still in my collection
I learned a long time ago that the littlest scratch should not be overlooked. My Dad had a 3 1/2 legged Buffalo graded in the early 80's. Not sure with who though. Some would say that's just an abraded die. Who wants that? Don't raise your hands all at once. No telling where the hobby goes in the next 20, 50 or 100 years
I’m pretty sure I have found a few of these and they are in my “What the hell is that box”
I’ll sort through it later and post some pics when. I get a chance.
Awesome! For some reason the UN didn't clash on mine. I thought maddieclashes were still closed for submissions. Anyway, I'm going to wait a second and try to submit some coins to PCGS first

Show the goodies. I like pics too. I'm working on a ms65 set of first week of discovery w quarters. Only missing a few. I have to find the pictures on one of my phones
After going through 150$ in quarters here are the funds.
2nd quarter hunt in a row I got silver, especially lucky considering I go through moderate amounts (100-200$ worth). This marks my 7th W marsh billings. Kinda annoying because I want a full set and this is the only 2020 W I have found and I still need the 2019 River of no return.
@Mdcoincollector2003 That is a great percentage for finding silver. You're in a good area or something I would go back and clean house on those locations...

So far, all I found. 3 rolls left. No silver.
An Odd 1971d
Very PL and the "W" in We? No DDO.
Of all the 71 Ds that I have looked at in the 10+ bank boxes your coin has the best reverse that I have seen. Most have just a little detail at the neck with just a hint of the eye, base of the arrows are usually mottled, yours has sharp detail. Good find.
Today I went back (again) to where I had recently found these. Two of which are currently being graded.
To see if I could get lucky and squeeze out a few more of where those came from. No such luck on those particular rolls so I asked if they had any nickels while hoping for a match.
Five rolls looked like a match and produced this.
I did get a box of cents as well that had several nice 07s. One or two might make the next trip.
On these MS67 is only a base hit barely covering grading fees. Add a plus and it’s a double, 68 would be a triple, and 68 plus would be a top pop home run.
These two will only bunt to first base but I’ll take it
Another 180$ in quarters and it yeailds my ninth 2020 W marsh Billings Rockefeller. Still missing the other 4 2020s and the 2019 River of no return. Happy with the find. Kinda funny I keep finding the same one.
Found this in a roll of half dollars. Two reverses-no obverse. This is a cleverly homemade coin out of two half dollars IF I can find the obverse version, I can win every bet I make that requires a coin toss. For this coin, I can only win if I can choose the reverse side
If you examine the edge (obverse edge-top photo) carefully you can see the line where they are joined. This coin weighs 11.04 g which is well within tolerance, There fore it is not a magician's coin as you cannot get it apart. I will have a lot of fun with this one.

Magician coin?
I guess not? Cool find, dude.
Not a magician's coin. Magicians coins are light weight and you can take them apart. This coin is well within the tolerance range of a regular half dollar and you won't get it apart. They sealed it somehow. Easily could fool a person who is not a coin collector.
Lol. You know what? Lol. Come to think of it, I too, have one in my collection! Somewhere?
Now you're going to make me hunt out my inventory. Just like yours too. Both reverse. Lol

There may be more than just struck through grease on this one but I have to retake pictures. Besides the missing ear there looks like letters or something below the bust
found SOMETHING! It's been awhile since searching through quarters, coming up with anything significant. Well I caught two coins. One, another 2019p DDO Memorial (have about 4 already) and two, a strange Bermuda 1997 quarter. I think it's silver. Doesn't stick to a magnet? Could be a proof? I'll do further research.
Further research on the foreign.
Not silver. But not a bad mintage, 1,200,000

I don't think that you will find any silver coins minted for circulation, from any country, dated after 1978. Most, if not all, countries worldwide, stopped minting silver coins for circulation before 1978.
I play poker tournaments...it just hadn't occurred to me to ask about rolls at the main casino I go to for tournaments since I'm not a gambler and never deal with the machine games or getting change there.
The cashier at the cage grabbed a manager to find out how many rolls I could buy when I asked about quarters...2 was the answer. And this manager has known me for 2 decades! He showed me his entire single box of rolls...5 rolls total, until he gets more on Wednesday. So he was actually being super generous!
They have little use for halves so I asked for his half dollars...he gave me all of them...6 rolls.
By the way the poker tournament had 52 people in it and I got 4th place, thanks for asking! lol!
I won almost $400
Now how’d that get in there lol. I felt a protrusion in one of my penny rolls, so I opened it first. When I got to the coin, you can imagine my surprise when I saw this.
@Kurisu.... Congratulations on your poker winnings... Tough game. Have played it since I was a kid (we had poker penny ante games in the winter on Saturday afternoons). I have several books including Dolly Brunson's... Just never got around to the really serious side of it. Though I have won regularly the few times I played in casinos... Played more Blackjack... actually easier to win at that game. Cheers, RickO

The weak "W" is from overpolishing the die. When the die is polished the letters and numerals become skinnier and lose detail.
