Plenty of cents there... but looks like searched rolls....Might be some minor anomalies left in those rolls. Cheers, RickO

Are you saying they’ve been re-wrapped back in original bank paper?
Because I thought I was getting good at making sure I bought original bank rolls.

@CoinscratchFever.... It looks like at least three of those rolls have been opened and refilled. Cheers, RickO

Eagle eye, can you be more specific? I might actually learn something. Are you referring to the vertical pics where the ends look suspect or can you spot this in the pic where there all laid out.
I was under the assumption the 80's rolls that were very tight and sometimes dirty were legit. I understand the 60's rolls and have purchased a few of them, very lose, and the paper sometimes looks new. Some of those actually had enders in the middle and that was easy to pick up on.
Also, I've had some of the 80's grade to MS68 so not all are bad.

I play poker tournaments...it just hadn't occurred to me to ask about rolls at the main casino I go to for tournaments since I'm not a gambler and never deal with the machine games or getting change there.

The cashier at the cage grabbed a manager to find out how many rolls I could buy when I asked about quarters...2 was the answer. And this manager has known me for 2 decades! He showed me his entire single box of rolls...5 rolls total, until he gets more on Wednesday. So he was actually being super generous!

They have little use for halves so I asked for his half dollars...he gave me all of them...6 rolls.

By the way the poker tournament had 52 people in it and I got 4th place, thanks for asking! lol!
    I won almost $400

    My casino rolls...

I stopped reading after I read this!

Haven't you ever heard the old saying?

    Another Clad Toner

I'm beginning to enjoy these Clad Toners better than a silver coin! One has to admit, they are much, much eye appealing. More pleasant to the eye, definitely than a silver coin. Sure, not as profitable but sure to be a show stopper. At least it does this for me. <3

For the most part, cash games are the only action we get here in Texas. Plus I quit playing online several years ago because it’s so addictive and time consuming. Last visit to Vegas at the Aria I saw Hellmuth across the room, of course he was playing a much bigger game…

I’m going to play the Main Event some day. Currently I would have to sell my entire collection just for the buy-in so I’m not ready just yet B)

This one was only half a point from covering the buy-in, airfare, and a penthouse suite.

Have 10 rolls left from the last box of halves that I ordered, they have NIFCs enders. So far 5 40%, 1983 no FG, 1974 P no FG and a 1989 D no FG however it looks like a grease filled strike as most of the tail feathers are flat as well as most of the leg above where the FG would be, don't know if that would qualify. Dumped some halves at an out of the way branch, went to my regular branch, they had a box waiting for me. Stopped at another branch where I had success and scored almost full $500 box of customer wrapped halves. Hope who ever put them there is not like me, a CR hunter! Cheers.

2nd quarter hunt in a row without silver and I didn’t find any west points. After going through 200$ in quarters I found a 2020 D i need for a folder (I normally get Philadelphia coins), a very nice 1998 (not getting it graded, but it was to nice to toss back), and a 2014 S business strike Smoky Mountians.

Ok, went through them already. Very quickly! Just checking for silver and Proofs. Glancing at many 72d "No Fg" varieties as well. That's it. Here's all what I caught and found.
    3 Proofs and 1 40%'er.

Oh well, can't win all the time, right? That's fine. Saving some for you guys. :D

Well haven’t been on here in awhile. Thought I share something that came out of a roll of dimes. Not sure what to think of it. I don’t know much about coins being stuck from another planchette. And I don’t know much about coins being counterfeits????? Can anyone with professional experience help me out.

Well a clad dime planchet is 2.27g - looks like a plated copper cent was forced into a dime wrapper. A normal copper cent is 3.11g so I'm guessing the extra weight came from the plating

That's a nice BIE/IIB die chip. Not sure I have that one, need to take a look. I think it is this one:

Thanks for the info.......... I always have a problem distinguishing the different varieties. Is it really a different die chip or is it just a progression ......?

All the IIB's are from different dies, not progressions.

are you asking if the chip starts out small and then continues to get larger?
    .
because they do start out small usually and get larger but also there are different dies.

Yes, that was exactly what I was questioning. To me it just seems funny certain years have none - others have many. You just have to study the pics on COC to really tell

COC documents progressions. In the description you'll see something like "#2 of 3 stage progression" as you can see in the first listing here:

Oh, I see, different mintmark positions and die markers can be used to identify different obverse dies.

Just searched through 80 Rolls of Half dollars.

    Results: 2 Coins

    One possible "NO FG" 1972d.
And this, possible Satin Finish 2005p?

I'll let you be the judge.

Between these two, is one of them the S.F.? Thanks :)
