Both have heavy premium on ebay Im thinking $300 - $500 a piece maybe more or less depending on the day, but the 5oz bars have become very popular and desirable.
Great pickupps!!
I don't know what you paid, but yes those are a buy all day everyday if close to spot.
Money to be made flipping these.
You may want to get to know the dealer and see if they can alert you when this stuff comes in.

Picked these up from LCS. Checked the allenglehard site for info but not familiar enough to determine if these have any premium. Any info from forumites appreciated.

Ok been a dry spell at the LCS but he had this. He did get me for a premium.
So what do I have here. I don’t think it
is actually old but I don’t know

YPS or Yeager's Poured Silver is still in business and a lot of their silver is available on eBay and at their web site and at most bullion dealer web sites. They're worth melt value plus a small premium. That's a very cool design.

I have a new arrival.
I can't keep it though and have to give it away
I picked the 1997 1/10 eagle up for a coin club meeting Christmas dinner raffle prize.
I'll get the $204 delivered reimbursed but now I just need to figure out how many $5 raffle tickets it's going to take to make it a keeper

Pulled the trigger on my final Engelhard collection goal bar..:
Final?? a bit Premature...I'm sure there is one more you want and don't have.
Haha.. I knew someone would call me out. Nah, it never ends, lol.. There's still that IMPEX bar nagging at me but I've yet to see one.. then there will always be another, right?
@USMC_6115 said: @cmanbb NICE!!! I wish!! I have the 3 & 5 ouncers I got early on. Can't touch the 2, 4, and 7 ouncers now! Great pickup - hope you got a killer deal!
I was outbid tonight on a 3 oz. Engelhard. Tapped out at $1,015.

Absolute truth here, back in 2011 a bullion dealer sold me one of those for spot +1 dollar! I bought it for $99. $33/oz
About a year or two later stupid me sold it off for regular silver price in a big bullion trade.
I have a similar story... in 2016, my local dealer sold me 5 -3oz Engelhard loafs for the standard price of silver. Spot + 1.75
I kept them for a couple years but couldn't help flipping them later down the road.
I didn't even really need the cash, just seemed silly to not take advantage the premium... fast forward to today and It would have been REALLY profitable. (I can't find those photos darnit)
A couple years back they had another batch of nice 5oz loafs come in. I had to pay up for these though, at the time I only had enough cash for 4 of them.
Prices have gone crazy! I think anything Engelhard is smart buy nowadays. Even the “common” 1 ounce bars are seeing increased premiums. Get them now while they are cheap.. Demand is there IMO!

I think I paid 45 to $50 an ounce somewhere in that range it was just under 250. I just can’t remember exactly what I paid a little high, but I liked the bar.

Martin,
If your at the LCS and have your phone... snap a picture of what your looking at and Google lens search it.
The YPS I recall was a recast of the Disney pirates of the Caribbean coin.
Pretty cool, IMO YP should have gold plated some
