Seems like if you want a nice, poured or vintage bar…the minimum is $30 an ounce. I paid $40 an ounce for a JM bar last month, but I really wanted it.2 -

Anybody into art bars? I finished two albums of these suckers over the years... 45 ingots per album.
If I could find another dansco, I'd probably keep going.

I have a few.. a Coke Cola and 4 California Crown Mint Body Builder Bars. Got them cheap when I lived out in Southern Cal.. They have quite the premium now

How about those Crown Mint Naked Beauties? There was one for every month Jan-Dec.. Holy premiums!! If had the extra $$$ I'd get a set. They are higher every time I see them!

I've got one with an Acid silver testing mark on the back.
Do you need that variety too?
I picked it up from a pawn shop and the price sticker was on the back.
I saved $2 off the sticker price and didn't find out about the testing till I removed the sticker.
The sticker conveniently covered the testing mark.
A month later I asked about the testing mark and the pawn shop guy said they test everything...I said it's worth more without the acid etched mark.
He said not to him, can't argue with that logic.3 -

You’ve got a nice array of 1 oz. Engelhard bars @USMC_6115. It would be cool to see them all in 1 group.
I have my eye on a nice poured 10 oz. bar that’s a bit obscure. It ends this week and I’m sure I’ll pay dearly for it if my bid holds.3 -

it looks like a normal variety, but it’s actually a very scarce oneAllEngelhard listed my serial number!
This type is one of the first ones on the 10 ounce page.

I was watching an auction yesterday for a 1 oz. Gold Standard bar. I posted my new ones a bit further up the page.
I paid $98.50 for mine. I know USMC has one and I’m sure Asheland has one as well. Anyways, yesterday’s auction closed at $159!!! 😮2 -

I'm missing the bottom right San Diego coin exchange bar
IMO it is by far the hardest bar...the #1 bar being the second hardest.
Then Anaheim, Mark oval, then the regular Amark bar.2 -
Picked this up as a gift to my spouse for our 25th wedding anniversary, (after all, it is the traditional silver one
). As you can see it has been around a while and quite toned. Waiting just a few more years for the 50th, which is of course gold. No shortage of that around here.

My latest, it is an ounce of silver, so I guess it could qualify for the metal thread, however, this is definitely numismatic with a really nice box and presentation, a really good friend gave me this yesterday!

The first 10 or so are in order of lowest mintages except the two poured bars at the bottom.. they are by far the lowest mintage. I didn't get to label all of them yet.
