@asheland... OK, I know this is not what it appears, but in that picture, it appears that Charles has a hearing aid in his ear. .... Say it isn't so... Cheers, RickO

And no, it wasn’t a rip, it came into the coin shop I work at, we bought it accordingly for the silver value, but the owner let me have it for less than half of it's melt price as a little perk for having a really good day today. He actually sold it to me at a loss.
It’s my initial engraved also! Original bag, perfect package deal for me!
Probably made right around 1950. So it’s vintage versus antique.
I picked up an old man round for $40 and then had to go back and price check a WTC Recovery Silver Eagle.
That was reasonable at $60 and I picked it up.
Everything else I felt was overpriced more than what I got.

@rte592 Here are the two bunker hill bars.
Thanks everyone for the info @Goldminers I bet those are tuff jobs working in a mine. Thanks for your effort who knows you might of had a hand in those two bars

Thanks! Indeed, the larger, the better with gold, but I'm an Engelhard collector so this one was a great find for me.
Very cool, the video was neat too. I love the old carded Engelhard stuff. I've got a carded 1/2oz gold bar but that's it. The premiums on the carded Eng stuff is usually kind of insane.
@asheland nice prospectors. I’ve never seen the 1/10 before very nice pick up. Here is a shot of the two I have. I should add the silver one to complete the run.

@asheland I would not be able to the the $200 out of my pocket fast enough.. Nice find
Your making me want to stop by my local shop today for a quick peek

Yeah, if it's in the original card, it's hard to pass up! I was happy with it, especially at the $190 price tag.
It's a perk working at a B&M
That's a great price. If you want to make a quick $210 profit, let me know. $400 shipped😊

It’s for the collection, but, should I tire of it, that’s a very fair offer that I’d do.

Fair enough. I have a small collection of Engelhard Prospectors, but always looking for more. Specifically 1/10oz, 1/4oz and 1/2oz examples.

@asheland... That is beautiful... What capacity?? I really want to find one of these to use as a wine goblet.... Cheers, RickO
@ricko Thanks. 👍
I haven’t measured, but it’s a nice sized piece, here’s an in hand picture to show scale:
There were two on the site, the other is still available:

@asheland .... Thanks for the link... Nice size, but that price is way out of line.... I expected around $400... Not $1200. Cheers, RickO
@ricko check Styles site and search their inventory, they actually have a lot of cups listed. 👍

I have had this old JM for so long I can't remember. I worked underground at the Bunker Hill the summers of '75 and '76.

Surprised to see great quality Enghelard rounds still in the wild. Got some recently.
