Lmao lets see someone top this! The article says it was Dak Prescott wearing a Thong versus the Redskins but he wears #4 and this guy looks like his number is in the 90's which would likely make him one of the defensive linemen.

In all seriousness, I really enjoyed Romo. Since it's not my team, I could enjoy his play for what it was.

He made it from undrafted, small div 2 1-AA I guess) school to Cowboys starter. He worked his butt off to get better. He took a ton of chances. Very, very tough. Played through terrible pain. Really exciting player. I watched him pretty much every week.

And his spin move was out of this world. You should watch the highlights if you haven't seen it. Super athletic guy-deceptive.

The big question that we are all pondering is which thread will Dimeman choose to make the first post of his eagerly awaited return?

Renowned scholars around the world are busy trying to figure it out.

I think you're right about Dimeman's first post happening in the coin forum.

Perhaps Dimeman will start out with a new thread with pics of coins he bought during his hiatus?

Dimeman has extremely poor taste in his NFL football team, but I do like his taste in coins. Mostly uncleaned coins with the original skin which I happen to really like and mostly collect.

For example I'll take a nicely toned Morgan dollar over a bright shiny Morgan dollar every time. :)

Is the Coin Forum where he got caught acting up? It’s either going to be there or a rapid Defensive postering in this Cowboys thread. And agreed with Bronc Dimes are waaaaaaaaay too small to be able to enjoy the detail.

I just received an email from Dimeman explaining that he has given up coin collecting and quit being a sports fan, to instead pursue his passion of bird watching.

Good luck with that Dimeman and i'll tell ya, pigeons can be a really fascinating bird once to get to know them.

The only thing the Cowboys have to worry about is a let down after they walk though their weak division. They will probably be the only team in their division with a winning record. The Eagles started the season overrated, and now that they are beat-up, there is no competition for the Cowboys.

If they intend to tank for a number 1 draft pick they should at least lower ticket prices

Here's a thought. Instead of lowering ticket prices, perhaps they could give the 50 or so fans, who will be following the Dolphins this year, two seats at the home games, one each near the goal posts. That way the fans could move to the visiting team's end of the field at the end of each quarter so that the fans can catch the highlights of the game from a ringside seat.

They could take up some of the empty seats in the middle of the stadium and build a little golf cart path between the goalpost seats to make the quarterly move easier.

The hype and that is all it is is hype makes me PUKE. That 72 team was not that great. They had an easy schedule. The Pat's team that went undefeated until the Giants got lucky was MUCH better. So was the 92-93 Cowboys and a lot of other teams really.

I think Jerry Jones is cheating somehow. Putting steroids in the water cooler? Placing performance enhancing drugs in the team meals?

I don't know how he's doing it yet, but I'm going to get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I do.

Yes, I remember the 1972 season. The Dolphins played half of their games in a weak division against teams with less than .500 records. The games they played outside the division were with the weaker teams. They also had two fewer regular season.

The Patriots had much tougher regular season than the ‘72 Dolphins did. They played most of the top teams and bear them on their home fields. The Giants had one lucky day an spoiled the best season any professional football team had ever had. Old man Shula should get some humility.

The Giants had one lucky day?

We matched up PERFECTLY with them and nearly beat them in Week 17 that year to end that quest for perfection in the regular season.

Then the Giants played 4 fantastic road games in a row in the playoffs and beat Garcia, Romo, Favre and Brady that year. In the Super Bowl, the defense imposed its will, shut down the league’s best offense and the rest is history.

And since 1996, the Cowboys are tied at 0 with the Jets. Not the best (near) quarter century for the Cowboys. But hey, their best QB in that span has more Sketchers commercials than any QB in NFL history and gets through airports pretty easily between the slip off shoes and what with the no rings to take off.
