I’m very happy he is too, I really hope the rookie and Gordon works out. Think about 3 Physical Receivers like that plus Edelman! We could have the best WR corps in the league
I watched the first three quarters and agree with Perk that Thomas,barring injury,is going to look great in this offense. I also think that Stidham has done enough during this preseason to likely make Hoyer expendable.
I think this Pats rookie class with Harry,Harris,Winovich,Williams,Meyers,Stidham & Bailey could turn out to be one of the better rookie groups here in years. Getting Wynn & Bentley back should be huge as well.
The only area I'd be worried about to start the season is the Oline with basically a rookie left tackle in Wynn,who to his credit has played well so far, and center David Andrews whose season and possibly career being over with blood clots in his lung.
BB wasted no time though by trading for three different Olinemen over the past few days:
sent a 4th to the Ravens for Guard Jermaine Eluemunor
sent a 6th to the Cardinals for Tackle Korey Cunningham
sent a 2020 6th to the Bills for Center Russell Bodine
With roster cuts down to the 53 man roster by tomorrow afternoon you gotta think that all three players are making the team after giving up picks for them.
BB also traded 2nd year CB Duke Dawson & a 2020 7th to the Broncos for a 2020 6th.

I saw that. Doing it this way allows them to use that roster spot on someone going to IR that can return at some point during the season. Not guaranteeing his contract makes sense to for a guy coming back from an achilles injury. Either way I hope he sticks around.

I wasn't expecting Harry to come in and be a 1K type player in year one but possibly just another guy that the defense had to account for opening up a favorable matchup elsewhere. I will say though that I'd rather have Harry on IR with Thomas still in this offense over a healthy Harry and Thomas playing for some other team.

Agreed! I just liked the idea of 3 Big WR’s going at once but yea D Thomas is more important. I wonder if Harry needed more time to learn the system...

prior to this season, i really thought there was going to be a seismic shift in the AFC hierarchy
