@aJman
Thanks, I must admit I gave up taking images with my camera. I now use my phone for coin images, that and PhotoScape to crop & combine them.

Hi All. I received my order of 5 sets Wednesday and have yet to open them. My plan is to keep 2 sets for my kids/me and sell the other 3 and break even. My question is can I open the parcel and remove my sets and the other sets still be in "un opened" condition to sell?
No. The only two reasons anyone would want the sets sealed
Shipping date for "early release" "First strike" designation. This is voided by opening the box.
They think you are cherry-picking the sets. Voided by opening the box.
You can, of course sell them once opened.
They need to be in the unopened Mint box if you want the country of Origin noted on the label. The labels with the country of origin will have a separate census ATS anyway...
Early release does not need an unopened box at any time unless the issuing Mint is also wanted.
Isn't there an early release cutoff date? For people not immediately submitting, don't they newf a sealed, dated box?

Cutoff date is a finality. The coins have to be received by that date for Early Release. Sealed box does squat.
First Strike differs in that they need to be shipped by the Mint by the cutoff date and can be submitted anytime if kept in the sealed shipping box (shipping date inside on the shipping receipt)

Quick question, how are some posters able to tell how many are left to sell? Thanks, Jeff
You are allowed a max of 100 items (might be 99) in your shopping cart. Add 100 to your cart, and if there's less than that, the checkout system will inform you the actual number in inventory and for sale. (Dealers (bulk buyers) can put more than 99 items in their cart, so we have someone here who can check for numbers larger than 100 when a sellout is anticipated.)
Clicking the remove button will empty your cart.
Is that the answer you were looking for?
Edit to add: If you were talking about BigA's post right above yours, he's getting his number from the sales figures provided by the Mint versus the product limit. Weekly sales of US Mint Numis products through Sunday are reported every Tuesday.
Yup...they have around 4k+ left of these sets and seem to be releasing them a couple/few hundred at a time....All my backorders shipped and I see no backorder date on the present ones that are available,

Me too. I got a couple sets, the ASE looks perfect in both sets also worthy of 70 grades but one of the MLs has a little mar on it, the other a tiny scratch. This does look like a very complicated coin, probably very difficult to mint - so many fine lines, rays, tiny leaves and stars.
Other than that, this is a very sweet set!
So agreeing with you JBK!
I'm wondering if those 4K sets really were reserved for the ANA show, but the Mint is releasing a bunch because they know they'll get blowback if they suddenly appear at the show after being unavailable at the mint store for a month...
We'll see if they actually do release some at the show...

Beginning to wonder if this 4000 or so was previously allocated to RCM, but they couldn't handle the load and sent back to US?
Does RCM produce a weekly sales figures like the US Mint?
That cannot be true for a couple of reasons:
1. The packaging for RCM is different.
2. The "product limit" totals would then be off (105K + 5k instead of 100K + 10 K)
3. RCM had 9500 sold on their first day and have been sold out for awhile now.
Based on Nurmaler's numbers way back on July 6th or 7th, they must be order cancellations.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Four coins, four 70's.
2019 W Eagle S$1 Canada Set Early Releases - ER 70
2019 Canada S$5 Maple Leaf - Canada Set Early Releases - MP 70
2019 W Eagle S$1 U.S. Set Early Releases - ER 70
2019 Canada S$5 Maple Leaf - U.S. Set Early Releases - MP 70
It would not surprise me if 70 is the norm for this set. Both Mints did a fantastic quality control job. I have not seen any "ticks" or faults in all of my sets...(3)

Very Nice! I might send one in now. Both my orders went out today and looks like the 3rd Apollo 11 print is now prepping for shipment.

Actually, I'm kinda surprised to get all four graded as 70's, especially since they were all sent in blind. (I don't think I've ever done a multiple coin submission and had them all come back as 70's.) I took a big chance only buying one set of each, but paying $142.50 (average) for a silver eagle kills me, (yeah, I know there was a Maple Leaf in the set, but I don't collect Maple Leafs ) and though I've told myself I need to shrink my collection, it isn't.
I looked up my certs for yuks. Pops for the US set doesn't exist yet, but they are reporting they've graded 3 Canada sets, and all six coins are 70's, so you're probably on track with the majority of these sets being 70's. And yay, I have a top pop indicator, which I suppose is better than a participation trophy...
This set is such a rip off. Basically 100 dollars for the Eagle, 40 for the Leaf (which most don't care about). Might have been a bit more fair at 120 & just don't see much of a future for it.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.

Wow I believe you are the 1st negative post on this set. I have a few but have not opened up the box just going to let it sit there for some time in the future. Awaiting one of the single sets I picked up from the Mint. I have not held one in my hand but I thought the reverse whatcha-ma-call-it made it unique? Does this have a mint mark like a S or a P? Or is it considered Bullion? Ohhhh well sorry you were dissatisfied. Just wrapping up my work day now going to relax with my dog!

If I am not mistaken, ASE from this set would be rank #5 on the ASE rarity chart.

July 23 is the BO fill date now.

Yep i just got some.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
Is the RCM packaging completely different in size? I got my 2 today and there's no way 2 of the US sets would fit in the box?
Now that would be something. They put one coin in each box.
19XB 2019 PRIDE OF TWO NATIONS............. 95466........................... 07/14/2019
Thanks @OPA the count show quite a bit available, 4534. Pretty sure they are not take that many to the Worlds Money Fair.
They are doing the trickle AM BO releases.
Just plain "available" this AM.
Need to ship all those that are backordered!
EDIT:
Update: All my backordered stuff has turned to "processing."
I am going to be hit with all of these at once; which is good, I think, so it does not drag out.
Yes completely different.
My Ebay Store
87 sets left at 5:21 am PT

45 @ 0854
So tempted. Needs to go BO/UA... now!
Thank you I got me one not sure when she ships though.
they are selling slow, probably because it's early. I would guess another 100 or more tomorrow morning
back to na
Yup toast for today but still 4k+ or so to sell
Quick question, how are some posters able to tell how many are left to sell? Thanks, Jeff
Hi Jeff. Not sure how to tell, except to say the early birds get the worms for schools of fish...><> • ><> • ><> And on it goes.
It's the greatest game going.

Cumulative Sales Figures
I finally opened my set received last week. A few observations...
I don't play the grading game but they both look great and for the SE especially I don't see how it could be less than a 70.
The certificate of authenticity does not appear to have the mintages.
The Canadian coin is listed as having a "serrated" edge, while the SE has a "reeded" edge. Both look the same to me.
While both contain an ounce of silver, the Maple Leaf is listed as very slightly heavier (free silver!).
The packaging was nice but I found the cardboard insert in the inside to be a little cheesy compared to the rest of the packaging.
Overall, a nice item.
Order made on 7/11 was shipped today.
Same! FEDEX and UPS are going to busy this week through the next (and the next if free shipping was selected.)
There's at least 99 available....
Yup...they have around 4k+ left of these sets and seem to be releasing them a couple/few hundred at a time....All my backorders shipped and I see no backorder date on the present ones that are available,
When did they change the order limit from 100 to 99?

If so, those 4K sets wouldn't be reflected in the US sales figures. The US sales numbers would be >100K.
Not that I'm aware. The RCM in so many ways is mysterious...
I'm wondering if those 4K sets really were reserved for the ANA show, but the Mint is releasing a bunch because they know they'll get blowback if they suddenly appear at the show after being unavailable at the mint store for a month...

the sets went NA quicker this morning then yesterday, plus there were more available this morning
I decided to order one of the sets for myself this morning. Glad I got the chance to get the order placed (and confirmed) before the window closed.
Successful transactions with: wondercoin, Tetromibi, PerryHall, PlatinumDuck, JohnMaben/Pegasus Coin & Jewelry, CoinFlip, and coinlieutenant.
I picked up one more today thanks to the members here about 15 minutes ago. Just got my confirmation email. Thank you all.
Your order placed on 07/18/19 has been confirmed. Please retain this summary for your records. Thank you for shopping with the United States Mint!
