Nice cards, everyone!
That 75 Nolan Ryan is amazing, and is very rare just for the perfect centering alone, let
alone how the colors stand out. Great card dan89!
PSA came through with a nice delivery in time for Xmas— was able to unite three very tough versions of the "trophy cup" Judge. Of the 5 "flip stock" Judges made, three have surfaced and made their way to PSA, with the other two being graded a 7 and 8.
Loved that Topps trophy cup since I first laid eyes on it back in 1987 with Canseco, Joyner, Tartabull, Incaviglia, and Todd Worrell!

Nice! Would you mind explaining to me the Flip Stock? What's different about the stock compared tot he other cards? Thanks
That Banks is one of my favorite baseball cards of all-time. Seeing it in PSA 10 condition is just remarkable. There's got to be a good story behind that card. How did it make this long?

This one is a perfect addition to the Ernie Banks career set......its the sweetest photo of a tremendous player (back to back MVP winner) and in PSA 10 it slugs it out with the best of them. I also picked up a '67 Tony Perez I'll share very soon...enjoy.
That Banks looks great. Great card. Can’t wait to see the Perez. Congrats.

Flip stock is exactly what it sounds like. Usually, the fronts of the Heritage card stock is smoother and slightly glossy, and the back is dull and has a slightly rougher, papery texture. Flip stock "flips" it, and it appears that the card was printed on a flipped sheet of card stock where the back is now the glossier side and the front is the rougher/duller side. can be hard to spot unless you have two side by side.

Ah, now that you explain it that makes perfect sense. Thank you!
This card has as much earthly business being in my card collection as a black volcanic glass rock does in a Maine hayfield but besides being the greatest baseball player card ever produced, Whitney’s little pal looks a lot like my little Athan.
Another low pop common from the 1972 set, and one I’ve been looking for a nice copy of for years. Always tilted and OC. Seems to be in higher demand than some of the others, maybe because it’s the 2nd card in the set?
Anyway, this card makes me happier than a ‘52 Mantle!

An OJ and a Shawshank reference -- it's a twofer! Well done!
I couldn't resist adding another one of these when it came up on eBay, and the bucks promotion made it a bit sweeter:

@maddux69 - agree, at first I was very pessimistic about the new SGC flips but now that I see them in hand they are pretty nice. I have one other SGC card I want to get re-holdered.

Here is the second of 2 '67 PSA 10's from the '18 Xmas haul..... I love the old school uniform with Perez written underneath the number on his back......I recall when Tony Perez and Orlando Cepeda got elected into the HOF the same year there was a stink as to whether or not they were worthy..... This '67 is my fave Perez card photo and its a high number....Id love to find a Brooks Robinson PSA 10 '67 one day. enjoy..!
That Perez is just a blazer of a 10. Congrats. Good luck landing the Brooksie 10.
Couple of Lindor SP Parallels bought from the same seller:
And a card that I just really like. Have been a Bumgarner fan since he came up with the Giants, partly because of the way he swings the bat. I love a pitcher who takes ferocious hacks at the plate. This Heritage action variation looks like the beginning of a HR trot to me.
Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.
Received this for Christmas. Have avoided putting my additions the last couple months because I knew I was getting this. Can finally post cards that look like they really do once I figure it out.
November/December Part 1 - big months for me as it was bonus time.
New scanner for Christmas - happy with SGC scans (top down) but PSA scans (top open to get black to see corners) are washed out. Tips would be appreciated.
Some of these were from Ebay with all the promotions (Bucks and Coupons) and some were from private collections. Really came across some nice SGC cards the last two months. Need to put the brakes on or I will end up not going to the National this year.

Buy a piece of black posterboard and affix it to the top of the scanner. I have a V600 as well and it works like a charm.

There were 50 Black Borders made.
I have been hoarding all the 17 Heritages, lol. Still hunting the Super tho.
Ho-ho-ho! Merry Xmas pickups!

I love those Judge Heritage cards and the 67 Banks is out of this world!
I have picked up a couple of PSA/DNA autographed publications for my Bernie Williams collection recently.

I got this 1983 Patrick Ewing Georgetown Police card for Christmas from my oldest son. I've now got Ewing's Sophmore and Junior year cards.
This card has as much earthly business being in my card collection as a black volcanic glass rock does in a Maine hayfield but besides being the greatest baseball player card ever produced, Whitney’s little pal looks a lot like my little Athan.
2 of my all time favorite players, and a few of my favorite cards of them. Plus, an automatic trip back 30 years...

Getting closer to having all my graded cards re-holdered.
I only have three SGC Cards and these 2 just came back in their new holders.
A lot of really nice cards - however that ‘67 Banks has me drooling. Wow is that card beautiful.
nice 87 !!

Say what you want, but the new flips SGC implemented have grown on me quite a bit. Beautiful cards and they look great in those holders!

I saw them at the National and was like meh, but the more I see them the more I like them.

I like them too. Clean and simple along with the black plastic boarder contrasting white boardered cards = A+

Final year end poppage. Love the feeling of subbing a mid 80s card and getting a 10, even if it is Paul Oneill.

First, that '96 Messier is epic. I love that design no matter what sport it is.
Second, is the O'Neill for sale? I believe @1951WheatiesPremium is looking for one.

No way, Jose! This is my Heritage High Number Crown Jewel. Besides, you only collect the Topps photo! Don't you go cheating on your mistress.

I agree, I absolutely love that set. My goal is to eventually get the Jagr and the Griffey from the baseball set,
Yes, it certainly can be. I'm a Red Sox fan so I don't want it lingering in my collection
