@Lotsos @JBrules Thanks!! It means a lot coming from you guys. I would be curious to know from either of you or anyone else if you think this card has a chance at a bump to an 8? I need to spend some time searching Orr 8's to see what they look like to get a better feel and have not done so yet. It really is a nice card with a lot of eye appeal. The bump game is a hard one to come out on top for sure.

Very tough call as far as a bump goes on that card. I am not familiar enough with this card to give any great insight. My best guess would be it is a very long shot to get the bump. It appears that there is just enough touching on 3 of the corners to keep it in the 7.5 holder. If I was going to sell some day I might give it try down the road but if I was keeping in my personal collection without selling for a long time I would just enjoy as is. Great looking card.

@MLBdays I might have to chase some Barkleys. Great looking card!!

@mintonlypls THAT is a sweet 64 Rose!! The 64 Rose as a card is cemented as an all time must have. You got a beauty!!

Saw that one as well and what incredible centering. Awesome pickup!

@Piggs - That is a great looking 52'. Beautiful centering. You got it "wright" on that one!!

Still have been chasing some Brady ROOKIES here and there to add to my run. I picked this one up recently. Its a (27/50) POP 3 PSA 10. I sent it off for re-holdering right away and it came back yesterday.

@yoda99 It just dawned on me after 40 plus years that there are no All Star Rookie Gold Cups in the 1974 set. And I believe they occur in every other set from the ‘70s. Not sure about the ‘60s.

Just received today the final card to complete my 1978 Topps set in minimum PSA9 or better

Congratulations! That’s quite an accomplishment for a set of that size!

@softparade Congratulations. That is quite an achievement!

Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.

A couple of recent pickups within the last week, more to come! The pack is a POP 1 and very happy to have it to go with my pack run I’m working on I’ve always been fascinated with OPC. The Griffey I thought presents very well and is flawless. Love the bright blue, and very happy to add it to my player collection of his.

Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.
  • Entries #3 and #4 with the move to vintage. Here's a really original thought on my part: I think the 1956 design is amazing with the profile superimposed over the action shot in the background. Probably my favorite set.

Love that Judge! Heritage Red Inks are so cool.

Took a chance on this raw Betts despite the shady picture. Got it back the other day and was ecstatic to see that the borders and corners are in outstanding shape....will try to post a better pic soon before it heads out to PSA. As mentioned earlier in this thread, these 2017 Archives red bordered cards are extremely tough to find in pristine condition:

And Im always looking for base Trout golds in good shape. Don't have this one in hand yet, and I doubt it will be PSA worthy as both left corners look to be less than perfect, but regardless, I love this particular Trout issue:

A low-dollar Roy I've been chasing, a triple game-used stick card that I can't recall ever seeing on eBay, and a McNabb rookie I had and sold years ago and have wanted back for a long time:

  • This December will be remembered for a long time. Added probably the single biggest piece to my collection via SCP late Saturday. Still not sure it has sunk in but yet. As a Jordan fan these were just something I couldn't pass up. I have been on the hunt for a pair of Game Used shoes with ironclad provenance for a long time now and 11's were always the target. Needless to say it was a narrow search. Can't wait to get these home and try them on lol.

If I wore the GOAT’s shoes I wonder if I could dunk? Or at least make a three?

Insane pickup. Best shoes from best season with best provenance one could want.

  • Thanks Matt and appreciate the push to go after them. I am not sure about dunking but I know you would be able to hit an eyes closed free throw like MJ did (after a few misses lol).

Congrats on the MJ game worn shoes. That's a killer piece.

I collect: 80’s Rookies and 86 Fleer Basketball
  • Thanks Matt. Really thrilled to have them. Will be a fun project to research them further and attempt to photo match them to a specific game. I may have to hunt down the Karl family lol.

    Sweet Trout XRC BTW.

Jfkheat - Really nice Aaron WS Homer. Think it is nicer than the one I have that is graded an 8.5.

I enjoy seeing your ‘61 MVPs. You seem to find them with clean blue and red backgrounds every time.

Well then, this makes my purchase of the new 11 concords that came out last weekend slightly underwhelming
