Yes, the announcers were saying that Bordles wants play in Jacksonville next year. His current performance sure doesn't look like it. Perhaps the Vikings will give him a go next year if they lose to the Bears today. The Vikings seem to be into well paid second rate quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins is due another 60M guaranteed over the next two seasons. Its probably safe to say they won't be looking to sign another Qb outside of the draft.

Pats looked very good going into the playoffs. Brady was sharp, D was strong, and no injuries (don’t think McCourty’s was serious). An extra week of rest is what this team needs. I look for them to do well in the playoffs🏈🏈🏈!
Just saw that Bills DT Kevin Williams retired after today's Bills win over Miami and he even caught a pass. NE has pretty much had their way with Buffalo for years but I'm sure that Brady & the Pats backfield won't miss him. He came to play everytime these two teams got together.
So NE ends up playing the highest seed remaining out of the Texans,Ravens or Chargers. Would it be crazy to say I'd rather see them face the Chargers even though they had the best record of the bunch?
Houston still has Bill O'Brien coaching them but this current Texans team seems like its good enough overall to make up for the annual brainfarts that BoB has when he coaches against Belichick. Harbaugh on the other hand has multiple playoff wins in Foxboro on his resume.
Then you have Deshaun Watson & Lamar Jackson who both can throw & run for big plays and have great defenses behind them. Houston's offense did take a blow after losing Demaryius Thomas for the remainder of the playoffs.

ya but that was the pats fans pending excuse for any failure of Brady's in the playoffs. Remember how flat he was after the bye week last year? He would be able to blame it on the phantom mcl issue but he can't now.
I think my theory of why everyone sucks this year is correct. After Julian failed that pee test all of the Guerrero gang had to stop taking ped's and this is what 41 year old Brady really looks like without the special sauce.

Not a chance we were going to play the “He is injured card” we have definitely suggested his age is catching up to him. There was a report or at least talk of him possibly being injured, the Jets game only proved he wasn’t injured other than that the Jets literally didn’t show up to play so they still might not make it out of playoff game #1 regardless. At least that’s my thought process, I hope they win and think they are capable just not sure they are good enough

My comment had zero to do with Pats fans excuses and everything to do with the idiots we have in the media here.
I also don't remember Brady ever coming out after a playoff loss and using an injury excuse but after reading your conspiracy theory in the rest of your comment I think you're taking this up with the wrong person.
You need to call 617-779-0985 weekdays between 2-6.
Josh McDaniels declined an interview with the Bengals and there are rumors that the Packers & Browns might be interested too. With Brady likely playing just a year or two more at best, those two teams look pretty enticing having Rodgers & Mayfield to work with.
Also Brian Flores supposedly has had interview request from the Dolphins,Broncos,Packers & Browns. Him getting a HC job this offseason seems very unlikely to happen after the Pats defense was pretty bad at times this season.
If I am McDaniels I’m choosing the Browns over the Packers. Who in their right mind would want a coach a guy (Rodgers) who thinks he knows it all and wants to run the show? And when he falls flat on his face he pouts and blames everyone else?
There's a report out today that McDaniels met with the Packers yesterday and has recently made it be known he's interested in the Browns job. If I were a betting man i'd say he's gone after this Pats playoff run and i doubt Kraft & Belichick can sweet
talk him into staying a second time.
Perk, I'd choose the Browns over GB too. At least with Mayfield he can point to all the success he had with Brady to try to get Baker into buying into what he'd be teaching him. Half of the time with Rodgers we'd end up watching Aaron scrambling out of the pocket and doing his own thing.
Totally agree that he is gone after this run, I will be shocked if he stays in NE. I think he realizes the party is just about over, with Cleveland he has an almost perfect situation to really start building on
And I don't see a secret dinner scenario like a year ago when they convinced him to stay with a pay raise. Maybe if Belichick walks away this offseason or tells him 2019 would be his final year as HC and Josh would replace Bill.
Even then though the Browns situation might look more enticing than NE's: Mayfield,Chubb,Landry,Calloway & Njoku would be a solid young offensive core to build around. Josh is also from Ohio so this could be a factor in his decision.
In NE's case they'd have a 42yr old Brady with no heir on the roster,no WRs signed for 2019 other than Edelman, possibly no Gronk but there would be Sony Michel & James White to build around. The OL could be all set If they can find a way to re-sign Trent Brown and with 2018 1st rounder Isaiah Wynn coming back from IR.

Who would want him? He is the hottest free agent Coordinator on the market lol He turns down job interviews. I’m not saying he is the next Belichek but I’d give him a shot if needed a HC
The guy accepted a head coaching job with the Colts then backed out of it and a year later is the leading candidate for two different teams. Yeah he's wanted alright.
Out of all the team needing a head coach, the Packers with Rodgers and Browns with Mayfield are the two best QB situations. Its no coincidence that GB & Cleveland want Josh.
It confuses me why Green Bay would hire the Titans OC for their HC, the Titans had a terrible pass game. Maybe they think this guy will just hand the keys to Rodgers?
Probably, although I don't know much about the guy they just hired. The Titans did have a really good run game maybe GB is expecting an improvement with theirs.
I saw that rumor yesterday. I don't think the Cards will just give him away after they traded a mid-1st,3rd & 5th to move up and draft him. NE has way to many holes in their roster to be handing away multiple picks for a QB that would more than likely sit for an entire year behind Brady.

Eh I don’t think it will happen but who knows? The holes that people see with this Patriots team could in Belicheks eyes be fixed with a band aid
True but they'll have just about 25M in cap space this offseason and many roster spots to fill:
The WR position just has one player signed for 2019,Edelman.
They need another Tight End not named Gronk, more than one if he retires though that would free up money.
They may need to replace Trent Brown at Left Tackle and his backup La'Adrian Waddle. LT's get expensive in free agency.
Their front 7 will need to be overhauled with Flowers,Brown & Shelton being FAs. NE didn't pick up the 5th yr options on the last two and I doubt Flowers will re-sign if he hasn't already.
They need faster Linebackers which usually go in the early rounds.
At CB,Jason Mccourty,Eric Rowe & Brandon King are all free agents.
Both Stephen Gostkowski & Ryan Allen are free agents.
These are they're expected picks going into the draft:
1st Round - Own
2nd Round - Own, Chicago Bears
3rd Round - Nate Solder compensatory pick, Malcolm Butler comp
4th Round - Own
5th Round - Danny Amendola comp
7th Round - Own, Eagles, Browns (via Josh Gordon trade), Cameron Fleming comp
If they trade their 1st (plus whatever else) for Josh Allen they still have huge holes to fill imho. I'd rather see them use one pick on a QB to develop behind Brady until he retires. Allen would be sitting behind him anyways of they make that deal.
