Re: MS66 FBL 1954-D Franklin bites the dust .....
I enjoy reading your responses , and I think the T.T. piece actually sold although it could have been bought back outright by the consigner . I saw a splendid PCGS Cameo 1967 MS66 penny sell yesterday on eBay for 94$ ?? I think PCGS Price guide is @ 300$ in that grade ........... So agreed , across almost the entire board… -
Re: APPROX. 80,000 SPORTSCARDS and Unique Sports Memorabilia 4 SALE
I have found some late 50's cards and will scan them soon. Also worth mentioning is a large portion of these cards are in sleeves or top loaders. The gentleman that collected them was very meticulous. I was also wondering if anyone knows about "Promotional Test Issues" I have several that I can't find anything on. Michael… -
Re: broke out 3 1955 recent psa 8s
Sent in 160 card submission for reviews. Called and complained numerous times about length of turnaround time. Fianlly had someone actually attempt to push my order. Results went like this: 1st 94 cards had 15-20 cards bumped to 8.5 or 9s. Last 66 cards: NONE. Now can these last 66 cards ever be submitted for a review. I'm… -

Re: Weighting a New Set for the Registry
I guess my thought here, maybe someone else is more likely to join me in the pursuit of these sets if they are weighted and that in turn makes it more fun. With the '94 Finest Refractor Set for example it would be nice to say that the Cal Ripken was more importnat than Cal Eldred. Obviously those distinctions have some… -
Re: If u had a choice between 1 of these rc's............
I don't have my Becketts in front of me at the moment, but I remember when the Jordan rookie jumped up. I think the lowest I ever remember it being was around $650. I know it was $900 for a very long time then it jumped to $1000 then $1200 and peaked at $1600 or $1650. The 94-95 season is when Jordan made the comeback and… -
Re: wow.. 88 donruss psa 9?
It wasn't just one guy, there were two of them with significant Ebay feedbacks, so my guess is they both wanted the card for their George Brett Player sets on the Registry. The Pop report shows that only 3 PSA 9's exist. Keith, There are 22 Ryan PSA 9's and 1 PSA 10 from the 88 Donruss set so I wouldn't imagine that prices… -
