You don't get to see these too often. Unfortunately, I don't own any, hence the reason I'd love to see some!

The best I have is a PR-66 Nickel Three Cent Piece. I don't have an extra $100 k laying around to buy something like that ... image

Maybe you should set the bar the little lower. image
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

You don't need an extra 100k, just view some of the coins in coinfacts image

I realize that Bill. If I had asked for PR66 or even PR67, the thread would go on forever. There's tons of that material out there. But how often do you see better than that?

Not very often if the responses here are representative.... Cheers, RickO

I don't think I was being too specific. I didn't specify a denomination, year, type, etc.

I have seen one PF 69 Liberty Nickel, and because of its haze, I thought it was overgraded.

Well, at least we had one. I'm surprised that with all of the elite collectors on this board that more posts didn't appear. The funny thing is that if the thread had asked for 67 or better, this thread would have exploded (and not what I was aiming for).
