I sorted my extra SPs, made a trade with Doran, sold a master set and need to see what I have left now.

Got 3 boxes today to rip later though

target#2, 9 rackpacks, no blasters. standard b.s. pulls. as Walt said no gravity displays at either store. i guess i'll check some other stores, but no more racks. later

I noticed that a few of years ago. I used to buy a case of hobby from LR Cards then buy a ton of retail (Target, Toys R Us) and would find that I only get certain numbers out retail packs that I couldn't get in hobby packs. That's why I would raid the Tagets of every blaster they had sittin there. I needed certain numbers to complete some base sets and always got them from the retail packs.

19 boxes of hobby: 1 auto
4 retail blasters: 3 autos

Well, I will try again, I am down to just a hand full of cards for set #1. If you can help out, please let me know.

Need 454,468,478,479,486 and a couple of inserts; NAP 3 + 8. I know the value of the Jeter and Howard and can trade other SP Howard and Jeter to make it even.

I open my first box of the year. Was lame rip IMO nothing to brag about. Only thing I did find was a base Jeter card worth grading.

Still no blasters or loose packs to be found locally, actually there was an empty gravity feed box at Target yesterday so I just missed those.

Do not know the numbers involving stamps. Am quite certain that there are 18 "Dice."

OK, guys hit a few targets today and the retail single packs are alive and well. Didn't pull squat in any of my packs, but did get some of the Mantle
HR cards. You all should be checking twice daily to find these. Also blasters and rack packs.

Here are the results of 21 target single packs:

10 SP's
2 TN's
2 NAP's
4 flashbacks
6 Mantles
3 chromes

yeah the first wave that I could see at target was the rack packs. It really should be in the next few days. Its funny the walmart gravity feeds are a set
number of packs, but the target gravity feeds had no pack count on the box and had an odd number of packs in them. The box is also much bigger.

Is anyone besides me doing the Mantle and Maris sets? I love the info on the backs.

ok kids listen to this one. I went on a heritage hunt today. Went to three different Targets and bought 24 total retail packs with noting to report. went to three different Walmarts with no Heritage in sight. Went to this flea market type place here in Michigan that had a sports card show. There was a dealer there that had one Hobby box sitting there by itself with an open box with five packs left in it on top. I grab the unopened box thinking it was his last one. Well he had another case and asked if I wanted more than one or if I wanted to pick from the new case. I said no I'll just take the one by itself. Well this box must have been a screw up. I knew something was different when I opened the second pack and got not one but two dice games together in the same pack (Arod & Kinsler). Then a couple of more packs in and I get another dice game. so long story short, in the end I ended up getting 9 total Dice Games(all different) and not one single sp in the box. I am baffled. Dice games are supposed to be 1:72 packs, why was there 9 in one box????

now that I think about it. It was a screw up because every one of those Dicebacks was the last card in the pack ( where the sp should be). Which means the one that had two in one pack should have been 1 sp and 1 diceback, the other 7 dicebacks should have been sp's (8 per Hobby box)

nice screw up, dice backs are worth much more than the SP's congrats! Do you have any of the Mantle HR's for trade?

A little off topic but I was hoping for some help from the Heritage guys!!

I am looking for master checklists for the 1st 2 years of Topps Heritage for all 4 sports. I have Googled this and can only find the checklist for the baseball sets. I am mainly looking for the non memorabilia/autograph card checklist with all the short prints and various different backs.

I would appreciate any help anyone could give.!!

this probably belongs in another thread but noticed some 08 and 09 boxes that have heritage update in them at one of my local stores....is there any value in picking these up???

Ok, I think Im going to do the chrome set now. I have chromes, refractors, GU, SP's and inserts for trade.

So where are the Mantle and Maris relics? I know target and walmart retail hasn't hit full force, but we were seeing the Ruth relics very early on in hobby and there
was only 45 of them. Mantle will have 105 of them and Maris 135. There hasn't been a single one on ebay. I have already seen 5-6 retail boxes which had these packs
in them. What is going on here? Are all of them going to show up in one blaster again this year?
