I bought four packs of Heritage from four different retail outlets today..... got the Arod AS SP, Jeter AS SP, Longoria SP, and the Maris #61 super SP, out of 4 packs!

I usually have good luck with Heritage. Can't wait to buy a case next year.

Do any of you guys want the Maris #61? I'll ditch it cheaper than the eBay going price.... I only have $2.99 in it!

You know that's a 1/1, right Mike? If you take Posey's uniform number (28) and subtract Marichal's uniform number (27), then add the number of World Series titles the San Francisco Giants have won (0), and then add the number of stitches required to sew up John Roseboro's head (17), you get 18!! Woo hoo, a 1/1!

btw, I'm aware that Roseboro only required 14 stitches - took a little liberty so that I could poke fun at my Giant fan friends

I have been a serious Heritage hater this year, but I decided to do a retail run during lunch. At Target, I got 25 packs from a gravity box and a blaster. At Walmart, I got their only three packs left in the gravity box, two blasters and five racks. I got a total of 20 SPs, one chrome and one refractor.

What are you guys considering as the total number of cards for your personal master sets this year?

I think it should be 593.

425 base
75 Sps
45 inserts
45 Ruth, Maris, and Mantle chase 61 cards
Ruth, Maris, and Mantle SPs

But mine will be 612 cards since I am including 463 Braves SSP and the 18 card dice back set.

The only reason I am including 463, and not the 10 other SSPs is because the 463 error is true to the original 1961 set.

Yes. It is white. It was also in the middle of the pack unlike all of the regular SPs which were on the back.
