2 walmarts, 3 targets. only 1 target had anything, 8 rack packs. 1 chrome 1 set of stamps 4 sp 3 bbfb 1tn i guess only the blasters will have the mantle or maris cards. i think the cheapest way to pick up a set is to buy one on the bay. good luck.
I hit 7 Walmarts and 2 Targets, no retail here. On a side note, I sold a stamp card of Ryan Dempster / Carl Crawford to Ryan's dad this morning....thought that was kind of cool.
Went on the Heritage trail today, five Wal-Marts, two Target and just because two Big KMarts. Only the Wal-Mart went to last week had anything. Got a blaster and seven or eight single packs. Really disappointed in the blaster just two SPs and two inserts. Did get a red Maris Chase '61 and a chrome Wright out of the singles. Two blasters were left. Got another blaster and a single pack - another blaster with two SPs and two inserts. Was determined to get a chrome from a blaster, so went back and got the last blaster and a single. Single pack had another red Maris Chase '61 and the blaster had these. Five SPs
One T&N
Finally got my chrome
Last pack opened had GU
But I was already really happy with the blaster because this was in the same pack as the chrome
If I had opened this blaster first, never would have gotten the two blasters with only two SPs and two inserts. Still, I don't guess I can complain.
<< <i>arent the SPs 1:3? so with 7 packs (plus one bonus pack, which most likely doesnt count for odd's sake) how many SPs are due to fall per box? 2 >>
Yeah, I generally expect 2 to 3 SPs per blaster and either 4 or 3 inserts with two packs just base.
Since I was unable to find anything to rip today I thought I would take the time to show off the cards I've managed to pick up so far for my Cardinals set. I have a couple more stamps on the way, but this is where it stands today.
I just noticed something. Look at the Gibson-Holiday card. Did they mix up the relics on that one? It looks like Gibson's relic is next to Holliday, and vice versa.
<< <i>Can anyone name the one player whose autograph spans the most number of years in topps heritage? >>
I'll guess Duke Snider first, and Frank Robby second.
Stopped by one of the Targets that's on my route home. Saw a thick row of rack packs, which given the reviews here, I went ahead and passed up. Also saw a pack molester who was on his phone bragging about his 'hits'. I was somewhat disappointed that he didn't have a stack set aside for purchase. Woulda been fun to pick those up and walk to the register with them.
I picked up more hobby boxs/ Still getting killed 2 boxs no GU or Auto!! 2 packs in each box with 2 and 3 cards in each pack. Damn things short cards no GU or Auto are you kidding me
<< <i>I bought 3 retail blasters at target for 60 bucks total. Better than the case and a half I hobby I busted!
SP's: 8 plus Pujols and Ichiro Inserts: 7 one chrome Loney GU Bruce blue ink....and stuck to it....Ibanez red ink

SWEET!!!! >>
I guess for the big "WOW" factor now, Topps decided to load many blasters with little or nothing, and then pack a punch with others..........kind of like a watered down version of the super ssp box from last year...........
I think they are sending out a lot of disappointing blasters, so these hits look great and get more buzz going...........either their quality control is still bad...or it is a calculated marketing ploy... I really like the product....just not these types of gimics..........
I also agree that the cool subsets (stamps and dice game this year) should be eaiser to get.............the typical GU goes for what 8 bucks, and that is one per box.......
it would be nice to get more of those subsets, making them actually worth chasing (over the flashbacks of the moon landing......), it's hard to chase cards that you need to open $2,000 worth of product to get only a couple................glad this stuff is'nt made for kids anymore............
Walt, Pujols would have been nice, but I would have much rather had Musial. Musial is getting up there in years, Pujols has a ton of years in front of him.
I've been a Topps Heritage collector since 2001 but the product has just been "okay" since 2006 (1957 Design). I really couldn't get into the washed out photos. Anyways, I think that Allen & Ginter stole a good portion of excitement away from Hertiage over the past couple of years. The problem with A&G is that the design is going to get old pretty soon. The cards are starting to all look the same to me.
I'm just glad that Topps scrapped the idea of putting a "mid series" set of chromes/refractors/black refractors in the regular Topps Chrome product like they did a few years ago.
Looking forward, 2011 Topps Heritage will be kind of bland..but we should have a solid 5 years worth of designs after that.

That looks like a typo - I think there are 2 rows of 12 packs in that box >>
I don't think so. They have 24pk boxes for $71.99. This "12pk" box is $38.99, so I think they might be real.
I also found them on here more 12pks

hmmm that's odd - maybe they're just using the graphic of the 24 pk box. Unless they stuff the bottom with styrofoam and use the same box

also why in gods name do we need game used crap from KUO, Baldelli etc. Cant they find enough good stuff from players that folks actually collect lol.
