I'm getting the itch too, still have 4 boxes in my possesion plus the 2 I am selling on ebay. Doesn't look like boxes are moving much now. It's kind of a sign for Topps I think. Last year at this time we had 4 times as many collectors and 2-3 times as many pages on the thread. The economy might be some of it, but I am thinking that the lack of pulls and "goodies" is playing a part too.

I found an 8-box retail case for $469 delivered. This is about a hundred dollars more than I've paid for retail cases in the past. Does anyone know of a better price out there? I was sure one would pop up on ebay by now, but it hasn't. Thanks.

Nice pull on the Beckham bat. I took a stroll to another Target where there were 5 packs hanging, just like the other. I bought them all of course. Got an SP in each one and pulled a Michael Young GU. That was good enough but the card behind that was a Pujols dice, great pack. Also have another game used in another pack but didn't open it yet. Pretty good luck with the Jumbos so far.

Finally finished my extended rip of 6 hobby boxes. I'm pleased with the overall results: 2 cards away from the base set, 48 SPs with only 4 dupes, and these 6:

I'm waiting for retail to appear in my area (none so far at the Targets I called yesterday) and after I pick up 6 blasters or a retail 24-ct box I'll be ready to trade. Hope there's still some trading going on in a week or two!
