I was at a card show today and did very well. I found a total of ZERO 2009 topps heritage, one guy said he had a Yankee auto from a previous year
but "couldnt' find it"

I did find a handful of 2001 SP's and a few chrome refractors from 04 and 05. Also one Ginter no number from 06 for Tom, if he needs it.

I did open 4 stellar boxes of A&G. Pull TWO rip cards, one plate and one cloth along with two autos and two Pujols A&G backs.

I need to make an apology to the Heritage gang.

I haven't traded much this year - as I stated a week or so ago, my heart just hasn't been in it this year. That's mostly due to business concerns - that tends to occupy my thoughts almost constantly these days. However, of the five trades I've made, I've been very tardy on two of them. Kevin & Andy, my apologies - your card(s) are packaged and will go out on Monday. To those that have been in contact with me about trades, I apologize to you as well. Again, I just haven't been able to muster the energy to think much about diving into trades.

Those of you that have been part of the Heritage crowd for the past many years know that this isn't my normal behavior. I'm usually right in the thick of things, and have held up my end of trades. Going forward, I'll do my best to live up to that reputation.

Ok I keep forgetting to ask!
With all the packs that were opened..Did anyone else open a Bland Card?
In one of the Hobby Boxs I had I came up with a blank card front and back,, White on the front and gray on the back.
The same size a the cards.

Geordie, I hope things get better for you! I've had the worst 24 months financially you would ever want to go through and I totally know how you can lose your motivation. Any time you are able to make a trade or small purchase it just makes you appreciate the cards more. As long and you and your family are healthy, you are blessed. I need one panel to complete my 2008 Topps Heritage Panel Set. I need a panel with Zach Duke somewhere on it, that's it. Surely somewhere here has one one for trade. I also need the following players to complete my 2008 Topps Heritage High Panel Set: Saunders, Longoria, Padilla, and Castillo. Sorry in advance for the thread highjack, but I figure this would be the best place to try finish off my set. I will trade or buy for these. I would also appreciate any leads on these; I've already checked Beckett, Ebay, sportlots, and sportsbuy. Thanks.

Magellan, Parker95 and others. I will be giving some trade proposals but both of my PC's were ripped off late last week. The thieves pushed some GU cards to the side and stole my 6 year old PC. They also stole my 5 year old laptop. Total bummer, but the 75 Topps minis plus the A&G's were worth more than both of my PC's. Bottom line is I don't have a PC at the house. Once I get a PC or remember to bring the list to work, I'll be IMin' you guys... I only need 3 base and 3-4 SPs!!!!

Has Beckett published book prices in a paper price guide (not online) for 2009 Heritage yet? What magazine has it or will it appear in first? (Beckett Sports Card Monthly or Beckett Baseball, who is on the cover, and what month?) Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have the newest book, Here are some prices if anyone likes to do things by book. I think they did an ok job, I think the autos are too high 50 for commons
compared to the common black refractors at 25.00

I went by Target today to pick up a few things and found 3 blasters and 20 retail packs sitting on the shelf all alone. I decided to adopt them and I brought them home with me. One retail pack had all sp's and another produced a seat relic. A Jackson variation in one blaster and a Harshman auto in another. Here is a scan:
