Kevin,

I would get some of the cards up on EBay quickly with Buy It Nows. Currently, there are none to be found!! By the way, if I go ahead and start the OFFICIAL 2010 TOPPS HERITAGE thread, does this mean that I will be the first to open boxes next year???

a few observations:

1) The GU checklist is a joke. Not one retired player and all semi stars at best. No super SP's this year either.

2) It looks like 426+ are short prints, they are also all dark, so far no card higher than 400 has both backs.

3) It looks like the chrome set is stacked again this year...nice!

4) Dual Relics have some nice pairings...if you pull them!

5) The average box will have less value than previous years

6) This will be a set you will look at for many may hours, especially if you are Phillies fan!

JS - I hear what you're saying. However, for him to give a hat tip to a reader but just call you "one user" and steal scans, without name credit, is piss poor form. Don't think anyone here would do that.. And if they did, would get called out.

I will have the cases in hand by 10AM tomorrow. I will ship out Priority mail right away but you probably won't get them until Monday.

I am planning on busting my case tomorrow during the day so hopefully we will have a good idea about a full case yield

Texiera is pictured with the Yankees. Im not sure if there is a Rangers card or not, I pulled three and they were all Yankees. For the most part
topps did a good job getting players in their new uniforms...or at least air brushed to look like it. I can't wait to see what everyone pulls.

Guarantee you there isn't a Rangers Teixeira card in this set. Angels maybe, but not Rangers...hahaha. Topps Heritage is usually better at getting players on the right team than the regular Topps series 1. I didn't notice anybody on their new team in 09 Topps Series I.

I just got an email from Lockwood that his retail cases have shipped from TEXAS and he should have them Monday or Tuesday, then he will ship them to me. Anyone know where these are coming from? If they are in Texas, what do I need to do to get them directly shipped to me (I live in TX)?

Those of you who have done this set in the past will wonder what happened to the challenge. 24 players in the set and all easy to pull.

The chromes are once again beautiful but I think the base set might have it beat!

Some nice parings here. I thought Ryan was pictured with Sparky in the pre order pics.

These are always some of the last cards I need. Only one double was nice.

Mantle pictured a few times on the baseball side. Paul Richards is pictured on one...as a mitt!
The New flashbacks are very interesting.

I like the T&Ns - nice design. Not too sure about the others. NAP have always been my favorite insert each year; I'm sure this year's will grow on me. I like Manny being pictured as a Dodger - a sign of good things to come!

In 1960 there were white/gray back variations. I think they were just in lower numbers.

Clemente is no where to be seen in this set, the glove card I was telling you about tells the story of Hoyt Wilhelms nasty knuckle ball and the mit that
the coach came up with.

It appears that I have all the checklists. Topps did its best to kill almost everything with ink on it. I don't remember it being this bad.

Flashback autos are...Gil McDouglad,Red Wilson, Jack Harshman, Johnny Groth and Ben Johnson

Clubhouse Relic Autos are...Ryan Howard, Jay Bruce, F Carmona, Gamel, Kershaw, Harshman, Bob Rush, Bill Harris, Ted Wieand and Taylor Phillips.....who?

Dual relics autos are Carmona/Harshman, Gamel/Rush, Kershaw/Harris, Bruce/Wieand and Howard/T Phillips

anyone know who these guys are? Ironic that the autos are not on a checklist.

I have three of the Aramis cards, so I guess thats just how they did it, or maybe the full name is a super SP.

The pictures arn't that bad, they aren't crisp, but I think that is how they were in 1960, I have seen quite a bit of printer dots and black stuff on the
cards, Im hoping that was just my case and not an entire production thing.

I have noticed that there are some light and dark cards. On the backs the olive part is sometimes lighter and sometimes darker. At this point it looks like
all cards of a certain player are either one way or the other and this may just be a printing thing, but who knows, might be some varition there..it probably won't
show up on a scan.

So it looks like there are no variations in the master set...we're just looking at 500 cards this year? That shouldn't be as much of a pain to put together as last year.
