<< <i>3 Armais and they are all the same just first name.
I have put all my cards in order and out of 6 boxes I was able to get every card under 425. Does this mean there are no lower # SP's..no. Some of the cards I had 3-4 of and some only 1. Anyone pull a bunch of Ellsbury?
So far from what I can see there have been no variations on the fronts. I also noticed that while putting the cards in order in a box I like to have the number on the back sticking up, so when I look through the box I can see the numbers better (rather than being on the top), this works fine except for the manager cards which are upside down.
I still am baffled that there is no real one autograph checklist.

Thanks hope to have my case friday.. seat relics look good. i did the 57 heritage seat set. still need musial. might sell it off and do this one now as it looks better to me.
Pumpsie checking in. I have the kids tonight, so I won't scan until later, but stopped at the close-to-home shop (vs. Work local shop) and grabbed six quick packs to look at before picking up up rugrats. 2 chrome (Pettitte and Gallardo), 1 GU (Carl Crawford) and 1 Black (Mat Gamel). I kind of think that box is toast.
whoa, where did you get that excel checklist? The topps site is not right and the checklists included in the product are incomplete. Those double relics are going to be crazy.
<< <i>That list is based upon topps pre order list, which they changed quite a bit. To my knowledge Sparky Anderson is no where to be found in this product.

Harshman/Carmona dual auto just showed up as a redemption which we can assume that Harshman regular autos are also redemptions....along with the one redemption already pulled makes 2 redemptions in a small auto checklist.
OK, so because my retail case should be here next week, I didn't bring home any Dodger commons to stare at in the meantime, at least not until Joe gets his 1-425s sorted. I did bring home an empty hobby box and wrapper for my collection, plus Joe surprised me with this:
I've been slowly building a stack of '60s, with the intention of someday officially posting the '60 set on my wantlist. Nice to get one of the biggies out of the way! Plus, it's in the perfect shape to fit in with the rest of my ragged vintage!
A public shoutout to Joe - thanks for the great Yaz, and for letting me help you break your case. It was a lot of fun.
Here is the list of Real One Autos according to Beckett. There are 35 different ones (not counting duals):
Art Ceccarelli Art Schult Buddy Gilbert Ben Johnson Bob Rush Bill Harris Clayton Kershaw Carl Mathias Cal Neeman Curt Raydon Dick Gray Don Williams Fausto Carmona Gil McDougald Irv Noren Jay Bruce Johnny Groth Jack Harshman Justin Masterson Jim Proctor John Romonosky Joe Shipley Jake Striker Mat Gamel Mike Lee Nelson Chittum Red Wilson Ron Samford Ray Webster Steve Korchek Stan Lopata Taylor Phillips Ted Wieland Whitey Lockman Wayne Terwilliger
I'll be getting my Heritage tomorrow - can't wait guys!!!
No Ryan Howard auto and no Sparky Anderson auto. That is weak.
The cut autos are listed as 1:250,000.....there are two on the topps checklist, so can we assume that the total print run for this stuff is half a million packs? That is only 1,770 cases. Not a lot, we need to see if they let the presses run for retail or if that includes retail.
I'm no math genius either - correct me if I'm wrong. 10 cuts seeded at 1:250000 = 2,500,000 hobby packs. 2,500,000/288 packs = approx 8680 cases, right? I must be wrong - that seems like a LOT of product.
The topps website lists only two cuts...Mantle and a TBD.
That is a total of 500,000 packs, IF retail odds are the same. That is pretty limited yes, but topps cut huge corners valuewise here. How do you follow up this:
Al Kaline Dustin Pedoria Duke Snider Frank Robinson Gevany Soto Jay Bruce Jim Kaat Orlando Cepeda
with this:
Lockman Rush Harshman Chittum Gilbert
??Bobby Thompson was one of the lesser valued autos in 2001, today it might be the best pull of the lot. I know you are sick of me talking about the ink in the set, but man cmon topps, we are loyal here, throw us a bone!
Ok, the only set that is hobby exclusive that I can tell production run are the Clubouse Collection Dual Autograph Relics. They are numbered to 10 and there are 5 different cards in the set...that is 50 total cards which pull once every 10,200 packs..for a total of: 510,000 packs.
My theory is complete, there are roughly half a million packs of 09 topps heritage hobby. The 10 cuts listed on the sales sheet is obvious BS as is two of the cards pictured...Howard/Sparky Dual auto and Papi/Ted Williams dual GU.
Now if they printed just as much retail then this product will have endless supply. What do you guys think? Im not a math major.
wow could 09 topps heritage even keep Zep from pulling something amazing, probably not, but right now Heritage has the lead on Zep. Ill have to set my alarm!

So far live autos are:
Carmona
Taylor Phillips
Masterson
Im sure others.
Terwilliger, Terwilliger, a thousand times Terwilliger.
Disappointing enough to only pull the one blue auto, but to have him ignored is too much!

This year the odds are 1:250,000 for a cut auto which tells me there are roughly 2.5X more hobby packs this year. That's a lot of hobby packs.

Retail packs usually do not have cut autos inserted in them.
They tanked on the Mayo autos, likewise with the Heritage.
