No worries man, just having some fun.

    Nice new pickup!

  • Thanks Alan,

But it still makes me look like village idiot.

    Hey Cardcounter...
Why would you buy 4 Claude Raymond's? Maybe you can trade 3 of your 4 Raymond's for a Mattingly Rookie card? Sorry couldn't resist image

1973 Heisman - John Cappelletti Signed Index
    image

1979 Heisman - Charles White signed card. This card is uncertified and I had the certified example. I will post it following this card and you can see why I upgraded to non-certified.

    image

    image

Upgraded a PSA 9 in collection...

    image

And added a couple more. I really like these leader cards...actually I like almost all of the Topps leader cards, all sports.

  • Wow I would take that uncertified Charles White over the official one anyday, nice autos. Here are a couple of my recent pickups-

  • thanks to steve hart for this

  • That's a pretty dang nice deuce man....
  • I always kinda thought T205's were funny looking, but it's a unique set and that's (obviously) a great player!

    Nice new pick-up!

  • << <i> That's a pretty dang nice deuce man.... >>

thanks. There is a small tape stain in the back that causes the grade. Otherwise, a really nice card. Always wanted to own this card in a nice condition...but didnt want to pay the price.

Hey man, I'm a big fan of getting what makes you happy... I'd deal with a tape stain on the reverse. The front presents so well it wouldnt matter to me.

    Good work Sir!

  • That's a great Gehrig, great eye appeal.

I've loved that set since I first got a set of Dover Reprints as a kid. What a legendary set.
  • ElemenopeoElemenopeo Posts: 2,577 ✭✭

Uh, dang. Nice Gehrig. And any Cobb is a good Cobb. image
  • Ridiculously exciting pick-up for a ridiculously low price the other day.

    Low-pop RC of Mister Ramirez.

    image
  • Low pop from 1970 set. Most of the time this card is off center. 1 of 2 with no 10's.
  • I thought this would do better than a Four. There is a small pinch not a crease about 1"up from bottom left.

I got these (and a whole lot more) in a deal with Downtown1974 (thanks Bob!). I can't wait to start trading. These pale in comparison to some of the cards on this thread but I like them a lot.

Thanks. I never cared much for the '67 set. I must say that after looking at the '67s in that box it is now one of my favorite sets of the '60s, maybe even ahead of the '65 set.

Don't know what you paid, but nice card! If you're not collecting the 71 set that card is meaningless, but if you are then it's pretty much made of unobtainium. I have maybe 10 of that card that would all grade 7 or better if any of them had borders on both sides image

    Anyway nice pickup!

  • Any chance of a upgrade

I will assume you are asking if it could get a grade bump. Due to all the white on the card, it would be hard for anyone to give a good opinion. Nice card by the way.

  • Not a card but a nice little piece of history. I was happy to pick up this 1963 Reds Yearbook. It's in really nice shape. I also scanned the page with the Pete's player profile.
