Sorry for bringing up a 2 week old post but...
Reason #482 why I don't like sticker autos.
Nice card
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

The other multi-autograph, including the Ripken thread, motivated me to try and get a Perez rookie signed by all three players. It came back today. Very happy to have it signed and next to PSA to get slabbed. Bummer is it got bent during the mailing to and from Dave Ricketts which you can see in the scan.

Goot, thanks for the info. Stone, I have wanted to do that set for awhile. I have the Maz and Clemente in PSA 8 holders and I am wondering about crossing them over to SGC or pick up SGC 7's. Jim thanks for the link, I believe there are 12 Pirates total in the set so I am approaching 50%. I absolutely love the Aaron Hires, one of my top 10 non traditional cards out there.
I just realized on the last page there was 3 seperate Vern Law autos shown, he is on fire

Couple of new items today at the opposite end of the spectrum...
1960 Topps Whitey Ford
2007 UD Black Chuck Daly. This is one of the thickest non GU/Patch cards I have ever encountered. I am not sure PSA will even accept these things for grading due to this thickness.
<< <i>LOTS TO SHOW! Mostly new stuff but good quality high end. >>
Wow! Understatement Gman - very nice indeed!
The 60T Clemente is superb and the Arod and Jeter auto cards are always sweet to me.
I had only one Jeter auto - it was from a cut baseball on a card - I donated to that kid who was sick a few years ago as requested by an boardmember - the "interesting" thing? I never even got a single note from anyone about the card.
I bought this from board member manofmoe. He sent it out later than he told me he would, so he sent it out priority to make it up to me. Class Act! Thanks again.
Just got this signed this afternoon by Thomas and a few weeks ago by Jim Gantner. Ex board member Phil Apostle supplied the awesome image. Thomas loved it so much he wants one for himself!
First - nice pickup on the Aaron card - at a good price.
Second - the pic is sweet - the Gantner auto is perfect - I've never seen it before - he has a classic style - right up there with some of the best I've ever seen!
First off, that Aaron is amazing! Talk about my dream card...
As for Johnson, unfortunately I don't think that Johnson is in the National Baseball HOF. However, he is a member of the Braves franchise HOF and that is the main set I am collecting because it gives me more of a variety (Burdette, Sain, Johnson, Crandall, etc.)

Gantner must have gone to parochial school?
Thanx for sharing. mike >>
Gumbyfan that posts here is a big Gantner fan(hence the user id) and I always tease him and say that Gantner has a pretty signature like a woman. Anyone that followed the Brewers back then knows that image screams Harvey's Wallbanger's. Once I saw it I had to have it. Unfortunately Harvey isn't around anymore to sign it.

First, I am calling shannanigans on Big Daddy "Bowman" for picking up those TAAs... and, yes, it has everything to do with not wanting competition bidding on this set!
jimq - that Nevers signature is awesome! Ol' Ernie doesn't get much love from the hobby... his contributions to the game are sadly often overlooked.
Goot - awesome to watch a whippersnapper such as yourself venture further and further into vintage. You have some great tastes in what you have been picking up so far.
As for me, it was a busy mail week, but few arrivals inspired me enough to scan. Below are my personal highlights including the last key card for my 1955 TAA set, the Four Horsemen, and a couple short printed high numbers for my 1948 Leaf set. Paid handsomely for the Self with that centering and lowballed on the Jensen, due to centering, and was surpised to win it well under VCP:

Pretty good april fool's joke by topps.
My favorite leatherhead's autograph!
That PC of Ernie Nevers is really cool - I also like the way they resent it out with the "first date of issue" on the Ruth stamp in 1983!
I used to collect FDofI envelopes when I was in grade school - was a stamp geek for 2 yrs - then hormones kicked in!
Thanx for sharing - very nice.

Actually the card is costing me zilch, I'm paying for it out of my profits
from sales of other cards.
I love that Thomas photo with him having a cigarette dangling out of his mouth!
