Are the buybacks in their own pack by themselves? How do you know the pack has a buyback?

Now, really dumb question.....WTH are all of the black backs? how many are there?

Goose, ummmmm is WTH where or what? There are 110 of those I think by Geordie's count. They're on the bottom of the pack and sometimes a couple there, sometimes none.

There are a crapload , about 1/8 of my cards from 6 boxes are blackbacks.

Remember a few years back when the Pettite card was the first of him not in a Yankee uni and someone paid 20 bucks for it on ebay? It was early on.

I've seen some really cool stuff.

I like the Mantle relic that Nick pulled!

Good luck guys - I'm slow in collating - so I won't know what I need.

The quality seems better this year than last - my criticism? Not in love with some of the photos - could be alot more crisp.

So far I love what I seeing from the set (BBs, RCs, team cards, etc). There are some amusingly ugly cards (Glavine ?), but overall it's solid.

<< <i>Tim (NewHeritageCollector) the buybacks are in their own pack, doesn't look anything like a regular Heritage pack. Both those and the panels (which are packaged the same) will be on top of the box.

About halfway through my second box I realized that one pack had only 7 cards (and no relic or anything else). Almost every other pack from then on also had 7 cards. ?? Anybody else seeing this?

How often are you guys pulling the buybacks? I'm on my 3rd box from the case and only got 1 in the first box so far

Looking over the 1959 Topps master set I noticed the following card numbers have variations:

#40 - Spahn - 3 different versions of his year of birth
#316 - RALPH LUMENTI - with and without option statement
#321 - BOB GIALLOMBARDO - with and without option statement
#322 - HARRY HANEBRINK - with and without trade statement
#336 - BILLY LOESWITH - with and without trade statement
#362 - DOLAN NICHOLS - with and without option statement

These might be numbers that should be looked at in this years set. I would, but my case doesn't come until Monday

that made up for the super thick pack I had a few minutes ago that was only thick because there was 2 pieces of gum in it

5 boxes, 1 buy back (johnny temple) so far for me.

Did get some ink though - Herb Plews.
