The Official 2008 TOPPS HERITAGE Thread

Okay, well not really. With a month and a half until A&G, and my 2007 Heritage set done I am ready for next year. I know there are a lot of New York players, but nam812 was helping with the player selection.

All I did was pick out a few pictures, Heritage Addict is the true master, and Topps would be lucky to have some of these cards in next years Heritage set.

Perkdog, I was just a little bored today and started playing around with photoshop instead of sorting cards like I should have been doing.

Yeah, but if you get started soon your son (or by that time maybe your daughter) could be in the set as the new "HOT" rookie!

HeritageAddict, you may want to watermark that Mantle, before it ends up on ebay as a scam 1/1 cut. You may want to CYA just in case. I could see it going for $2000+.

    nam812nam812 Posts: 10,553 ✭✭✭✭✭
Watermarking wont matter. I saw a guy selling a 1968 Mantle that had 707sportscards watermark on it. He cropped the photo so it didnt look like it was in a graded holder, but the watermark was still visible.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

That's ONLY if they don't discontinue the product.

I thought their archives/fan favorites were GREAT and was really looking forward to rookie reprints of ripken, piazza, rickey, mcgwire and a few others!! Why the HECK did they quit making archives/fan favorites?!! Must not have been profitable as band-aid stickers.

Some may laugh at your SELIG card, but I was actually thinking I would like a card of his...he really is a part of baseball history. Is there any such thing as a selig auto card?

Well, I have bee trying to keep myself from running around buying cards until after my A&G cases get here at the end of next month so I decided I would start with card #1 and work my way through the set, I tried to keep the borders/teams/positions the same as the 59 set. So here is installment #1.
