    Yes, still missed by many to this day. Sadly, @ricko has long since left us down here on his eternal hunt for blast white coins up at the great bourse in the sky.

    IWOG also loved white coins, particularly early Commemoratives.
    He wasn't nearly as popular as ricko though.
    IWOG's rants were legendary, especially when he attempted to go after LucyBop.

    I'd think maybe he self imposed his own exile.

    He had been jailed (not exactly sure why), then got out, and now his name shows as "User Not Found". :(

    But....I dug around and found a thread where he had posted and his posts are still there, but under a different name. I guess when you change your user ID there is no "paper trail", atleast not that we can see. Anywhere he was quoted, "Morgan White" will still appear, but on his actual posts the new name shows up.

    I'll keep his secret for now, but hopefully he'll start meme-ing again soon.

    What happened to roadrunner? IMO, he's a SUPERSTAR poster on seated coins. I often thought that a compilation of his posts here would become one of the most insightful and informative books on the history of the Liberty seated coins in the marketplace. He was a fantastically informative, "superb gem" poster here. I hope he returns.

    Thanks for the kind words Barberian. I still check in here 1-2X per year, though usually only on the Precious Metal's Forum, sometimes supplying charts where I think they might help. About 3 dozen posts over there in 2026. CoVid did a number on the coin market as well as the overall enthusiasm that has never really come back imo. Too many local/regional shows never came back after CoVid, some of which helped keep me better in touch with people. I still enjoy reading some of Coin Forum threads and do that a couple times a year.

    The long trending threads on major collections being built was of great interest. It was interesting to see top pop seated coins I once owned make their way into major collections like Gardner, Pogue, Hansen, etc.....often at 1-2 grades higher than when I owned them, and most of them transferring over from NGC to PCGS holders when I could never do it....lol. That, coupled with sticker mania: pluses, stars, CAC, ABC coins, etc really made me question the entire "grading" and "market valuation" dynamic to the point I no longer wanted to be part of it. And in reviewing auctions and EBay over the past 6 months, I can only say that the grading issues are more weird today than ever. Way too many coins at grade that just aren't right, often cleaned, over-dipped, etc. Those same coins wouldn't have even gotten holdered 15-25 yrs ago. And now we have CACG competing against their own stickers.

    I stopped actively going after choice/gem seated and gem type coins by 2009-2013. I thought their time (or potential) was basically winding down, if it didn't already occur in 2008 and/or 1989. In any case I thought that gold coins (choice and gem $20's and $10's) had a better financial future with them having a high portion of their value in the gold content . While that took until 2018-2024 to prove correct, it's worked out for me. The gem seated coins I once owned haven't really moved all that far from their 2008-2015 highs, some are even lower now......while $20s are up multiples 2019.

    I still keep track of the numismatic and PM's markets on a daily/weekly basis through Heritage and GC, and do trade some private messages with some members on various topics. Always happy to discuss topics with anyone inquiring. Didn't even know I was in the "who's missing" thread until today when I stumbled across it. My best regards to those who were thinking about me.
