...I really only missed Wallman. And realized way back then, what a discriminating lot we have here.

If he takes my advice he'll be changing it to @JoeyKards soon. :)

He's turned his back on coins. He's all about cards now. Unlike coins, he can't cash in his rejects. :/

More like treasure hunting than gambling. He must have searched through an incredible number of rolls of coins. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually comes back to coins.

Oh no. That is an expensive hobby. I learned that the hard way.
I learned it is much less expensive to buy the cards you want then to spend the money on a gamble box. However, if you got the money to burn then gamble away! Much more fun and exciting when you win!

I am going to reach out to him for an intervention!😂🤣

So Joey and I exchanged PM's and I am happy to report that he and his family are fine but he has entered a new chapter in his life and will no longer be posting in the US Coin forum.😪

Joey has decided to move away from coin collecting and towards the thrill of the hunt ripping trading card boxes.😎

Are we talking baseball cards? Cause my 14U baller went through a spell opening numerous $75 boxes. Then puberty hit and now he worries about his hair which is the opposite of a mullet. Now it’s all in the front and shaved in the back. I wonder if Joey is growing a mullet 😆

I believe Joey is dedicated to his family and faith much more than any form of "gambling". 😎

Be careful assuming he has an addiction problem.

I believe he just loves the thrill of the hunt and is 100% passionate about anything he pursues and he loves to share his experiences with other members with similar hobbies.🥳🥳🥳

Labeling him an addict is just wrong and unfair in my opinion and that's all I am going to say about that.🙄

roadrunner not being around is a big loss.
Longacre. Saintguru. RYK occasionally pops in but has other interests. TDN has far less of a presence here than before.
A number of dealers that used to be on here don't bother any more. pistareen, Regulated, FinallyHere, njcoincrank. At least Laura is over on the CAC forum although it can be pretty sleepy over there and I only check it on occasion.

What happened to roadrunner? IMO, he's a SUPERSTAR poster on seated coins. I often thought that a compilation of his posts here would become one of the most insightful and informative books on the history of the Liberty seated coins in the marketplace. He was a fantastically informative, "superb gem" poster here. I hope he returns.
