Yes, I was too hasty when I submitted to PCGS at the Baltimore Expo on day 2 after the day 1 sellout.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have waited another two hours in line at the PCGS booth on day 1 and not only gotten the special label, but the FDOI in Baltimore attribution(Pop 1)......would have been well over 4 hours of standing in line, not a young man anymore.
Hey, I can't complain. I now own probably the top modern gold coin( other than the 2008 UHR) ever produced by the Mint.

49th of 230 Gold FH Privy sold for $33,000 on December 12, 2024 at Stacks-Bowers.
Tonight sold for $58,560 at Heritage Jan 5, 2026
Keep in mind, the HA seller netted around $48,000. Yes, still a profit, but not really going up as much as it seems, after fees.
The HA premium for that lot was 22%!!
The CACG relabeled one that sold at GC in Feb. last year hammered at $47,000 to the seller, and with fees, $52,875.
I think the average sold price was around 34K for the PR70s from StackBowers when spot gold was $2600. So it basically appreciated by about the same % as the spot gold.

Unless they got hammer+10% or hammer+5%

I am so glad I am not addicted to this stuff. I have the originals as half dimes and one each of the half dollar and dollar. I probably paid less for the half dimes than current collectors will pay for these pieces.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

And that one lonely coin - belongs to me.
First Strike - Baltimore POP 1
If you feel very lonely, maybe I could have PCGS "downgrade" my label from FDI Baltimore to FS Baltimore?

Nice coin - gotta get one.
They are spectacular in hand! By far one of the nicest coins the Mint put out in the last 20 years.
and will not be surpassed by this year's issues
I sent my PCGS graded Au FH back to PCGS to get a new, more deserving special label.
All told, it cost me $103.
I think it was worth it since the old label was the standard PCGS blue label and displayed a 'flagless' First Strike attribution.

2009 uhr!
I still think this and the 2009 UHR are the best twenty-first century issues from the US Mint and am glad to have multiples of each coin.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
multiples, wow
You know I knew that! 😉
Hard to argue that point!
As far as multiples go? I guess my 'only' two of each flavor should qualify?! No regrets......

Down to 40 on eBay currently. A 70 will cost you at least $7500. FYI. Non privy examples that is!
40 seems like a lot right now

Actually is this possible?
