Next time you may need to pony-up just a tad more to stay in the mix.
Very true lol, my bid was just a contingency bid i placed like a month ago if it sold unusually cheap for some reason, I really had no intention of winning.
When I truly want something, someone's planning on a loooong-term relationship if they make me into the underbidder.
I decided to send my girl away to be graded along with a army and laser privy eagles. I figured it would be easier for my heirs to sell some day. Got my pics and grade today. Needless to say I am happy with the results. Here she is, now forever entombed and protected:

What moron would sell a highly sought after coin like the privy Au FH on eBay?
Something is very fishy here.
edited to add: especially an original PCGS graded PR70DCAM.
This is now the 3rd time in the last couple of months that the same coin has been offered up for auction on eBay. All got no further than 20k or so, all ended/deleted. I reported one of the fake listings a month ago.
In each case they use the exact same photographs(2 of them) that were stolen from the original, legit seller - BTRCCOIN. https://www.ebay.com/itm/267296656793
It's a sham, a fraud perpetrated by a scammer who hacks into eBay accounts, lists the coin with the same two pics, and attempts to steal money. Rinse & repeat, beware!

The Mint release price for the non-privy version was $3,640.

He is saying that the 11/14/25 issue price of $3,640 (non-privy) < current spot for an ounce of gold.
gotcha

What are the bright gold areas on the coin between stars four and five as well as twelve through fourteen?
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Thats just glare, the dies seem to be convex with these RP gold high reliefs. It gives them that bowl-glimmer that rolls in the light.

Hard to believe it's legit, based on the price, the seller, the seller feedback, and the other things the seller sells.

I guess they found a few sitting around?..
Bless those that are paying these amounts for the privy marks.> @Rc5280 said:
I would guess that they did the final audit on sales and that is the final total. It is usually completed about a year after sales end.
