Late to the Party but had 4 cups of coffee today. Wired to the hilt.
Partially, because my newest acquisition is an early Draped Bust dime - 1805 JR-1. The JR-1 variety has 5 berries on the olive branch on the reverse. Currently, it's the highest graded CAC JR-1. The 1805 JR-2 has 4 berries and it's a rarity 1, the JR-1 is considered a rarity 4. I was patiently waiting for a nice example for many years. Yeah, I am very picky.
Again, alot of very nice eye appealing coins in this thread! Way to go guys!
Oh God. Folgers. And Maxwell House. With desalinated water. And the requisite "JP-5" film. Oh my, that just has me longing for days gone by!!
36 years ago, I was this guy

Was this guy!!!!!
I remember the fuel slick in the bug juice, while brushing my teeth. and of cousre the rush of JP5 while taking a shower. Those were the days of my life on an aircraft carrier.

Barry, my apologies, as I didn’t know you wanted that lovely coin. I was the underbidder that locked in the two bids before your high bid. UGH, I feel horrible! 😢

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
Had a really hard time capturing the actual look of this one in hand. This is pretty far from perfect, but it's as close as I was able to get. The coin is nice, and there's nothing especially wrong with the coffee.
@EastonCollection Oh my, what a fantastic addition. I wasn't able to view in hand, but it looked (looks) so all the way there from the images. Congratulations!

I have got to chime in to say how much I like this beautiful piece.
Congratulations

The color of this nickel is neon with outstanding luster that will bowl you over in hand. I feel very fortunate to own this beautiful 23 Buff.

Good Saturday morning! Let’s kick this thread off.
Posted this newp elsewhere, but it’s going to the SDB today so I wanted to check it out one more time. My first private issue gold… likely won’t be my last, I really dig it.
Enjoying my Red Eye on this beautiful Bay Area Saturday. For my favorite thread, I have this newbie today:
Really pretty one with good luster, eye appeal & minimal marks for a AU53. I don’t think anyone would object to this one in a AU55 holder. Nice fit, too, for my gold type set. Added bonus with the bean & how about the pedigree? Two heavy coin world hitters!
No images this morning (maybe later if I find a newp at the show), but good coffee and wiping the sleep from my eyes at my oldest son's house. Heading back down to the PNNA show in a couple hours.
Sold .7 oz of gold yesterday. No real premium (a little), but with gold up so much, raising a little cash in case a worthwhile CBH or piece of currency shows up felt good.

Thank you sir, sticker or no, that too is a beautiful coin!
I’m getting the familiar brain tickle for a nice Clark Gruber Pike’s Peak piece, lucky for my wallet that they’re hard to find nice!

No coins this morning.
Instead I encountered people protesting, possibly about potential closing of the SF Mint.
Just thankful some guy
took really good photos of it! Love the way the rainbow pops
