New box roll #1, a carwash token, in all fairness it's worth a quarter at the carwash. Roll #5 was much nicer, a 2019 first issued W Lowell! This has to be the first Lowell I found since ~ 2021! Not too bad looking! Into the acetone bath!!

Those tokens are worth money if they you can find the right place to spend them.

Good box so far (taking my time). After yesterday's post, roll #7 was a fairly scratched 2004 S Florida Quarter, and roll #14 hit the 2nd W, another 2019 but this time a Guam. Guam must be my most common find...

Very good box as previously posted, dry from #14 until roll 45 landed a piece of silver! 64-P (1st for 2024). Final 5 nothing..
    Final tally:

    • 1 carwash token
    • 1 S
    • 1 Silver
    • 2 2019 W's (1st issue is nice shape)

Yesterday’s weekly pickup results: I powered through almost six boxes today to complete my weekly pickup before I go on a trip over the weekend. I’ll be back on Monday, so if you don’t hear from me over the weekend, don’t be worried. Anyway, I picked up an extra box of cents to go with the rest comprising in total of $25 in cents, $300 in nickels, $250 in dimes, and $500 in halves. Cents produced 6 wheats, nickels produced 1 buff, 1 war, and 1 proof, dimes produced 1 rosie, and halves skunked out. Again. >:( There’s always next week. Enders were plentiful.
    Pics:

    Looks like a 14-d Buff. That's a good score.

It would be if I didn’t have to acid date it.

Not a coin roll hunt find. But reporting anyway on an in change find. Received in change at the local casino a dateless Buffalo nickel. Kind of dark. No MM. Checked for doubling,3 legged,2 feathers etc. No luck. Still a joy to receive at no cost. May be one released in the wild by someone on this forum. Have received a silver quarter and 2 warnicks in the past. And a few wheats.

This week’s first two hunts: $5 in cents, $180 in nickels, $600 in dimes, $500 in quarters, and $310 in small dollars. Results were okay, nickels were very skunky though.

Rest: Yes the 1946 wheat was in a dime roll. The 1929-S is my first of that date/mm. Ws nos. 19&20 are both NPs. It wouldn’t let me post the obverses of the Ws for some reason.

What should I do with all these 2023 cents?

I know collectors and sellers who are dying to search the Philly rolls, but they can’t get them. One of them is in Central PA. They sell on eBay for 2.75 to 3.50 each. I have not gotten any new rolls in the boxes of fifty that I buy regularly.

Found My Second W Quarter In the wild/Roll Today
Customer Came into my store today with a half roll of quarters and paid me
$2 in quarters nothing of interest in the 8 Quarters but i asked if I could check out the rest of what he had
and sure enough found a 2019 War In The Pacific.

Great job! Also, could you explain how you racked up an amazing 24,000 visits with only 13 posts? That is over 6,000 more than @ricko . Glad to see a new face here.

My results from two hunts last week. $450 in dimes and $700 in quarters were bland. Only 1 Rosie and 1 W.

The gold plated quarter makes my “gold plated denomination set” two away from completion. I only need a cent and a dime, though I do have two dimes plated with some other material.

    Alright the nickels: $300 produced half of my entire goal for the year on buffaloes. In all there were 50 of them. Box 1 had 1, Box 2 had 27, and box 3 had 22. My previous record for a box was 17. They were 1913 var. 1(4), 1913-D var. 1, 1913 var. 2(2), 1914(3), 1915(2), 1916(3), 1917(2), 1917-S, 1918(3), 1919(4), 1920(3), 1921, 1923, 1924, 1924-D, 1925(5), 1925-D, 1926(2), 1928, 1928-S, 1929(3), 1935-D, 1936, and 1937(3). The 13-D, 15’, 17-S, 21’, 24-D, 25-D, 28-S, and 35-D are the first of these date/mm varieties that I have found, and the 35-D is also the newest dateless buff that I have found by seven years. There were also 4 wars, 1942-P, 1943-P, and 1943-S(2).
