1882-CC Morgan GSA. Not the best but not the worst. I would say anywhere between MS62-63. The reverse is much nicer

I love these silver CSNA tokens. They are REALLY hard to find and rarely come up for sale. I was the lucky winner of these two on eBay...
The more common Bicentennial error...
And the RARE corrected Centennial version...

I picked up 2 very important coins for my set today in one Heritage Auction.
1858/7 Flying Eagle Cent (Strong) - Early Die State MS64
There is some mushiness to this one, but it is definitely Die State A, which is not common. The entire top of the 7 is visible above the second 8. For $7200 including the buyers premium, I could not say no to this one.
1873 Closed 3 Snow-1 Doubled Die Obverse - The Granddaddy of the series. MS63BN
This variety is often seen with strike throughs, primarily in "LIBERTY" and the date. This looked like a choice MS63BN, considering the amount of Red and the totality of the detail present.
Both of these coins went for less than I anticipated, which is why I ended up with both. Both are also in old NGC holders prior to edge views. Is this a sign of the market in general, or was it just a good day to be at this auction?

Very much love the 1873 and would be proud to own that one. That’s excellent. As for the 58 over 7 I only see a portion of of the 7 but I take your word it’s an important coin. I’ve always wanted one of these coins personally and the price you paid seems reasonable for a “very good looking coin”.

Thanks! For the Flying Eagle, what you see of the 7 over the 8 is about as much as you will ever see for this issue. For an early die state, this coin jumps to $50K+. Rick Snow has one for sale right now in MS65 for $85,000.

My new pick ups today 1838 capped bust quarter and a 1865 3S. Thinking the quarter is XF-AU and the nickle the same. The quarter really has some amazing toning.

Thanks to the Heritage auction I won a coin I’ve been chasing for the last 15 years. It was a part of the G99G Raisinet Monster Toned MPL set.
The HA photos may have been to my advantage.

1983-D MS68RD for the Registry 1983 Mint Set

I forgot to add one of my two FUN purchases.
Amazingly, I did not browse the bourse at all and I was set up for the entire show, through Sunday. Only bought a slabbed Trade dollar and this raw one from an album brought to my table. It is one of the die pairs for the 1877 Cherrypicker DDO, C-14 in my catalogue. You can easily see the doubled stars. The crack from the D/UNITED confirms which reverse die. I particularly liked the color and the distribution of chopmarks.
