Galaxy, I saw your grid and tried to do it without copying any of your players but ended up using Wilbert Montgomery. My toughest one was Charley Taylor because I kept spelling it Charlie. 😨😨

I actually pondered Griff for that spot but wasn't sure about the 40 homers.

Howard McGraner was my grandfather’s uncle. I never heard about him until last year, but apparently my grandfather looked up to him. He played in 1912 for the Reds and made a few appearances I guess in relief and had a 1-0 record.

whenever i see this thread being bumped and i haven't given today's grid a shot, i never look for obvious reasons

i just gave today's baseball a stab and it was funny to see browns with Colavito lower left as well. but the difference was, i unsuccessfully tried to stick him in the two squares above that one as well. i knew he played for many teams, but i couldn't remember which ones outside of Cleveland

Score 14, went with all pitchers just for fun. The All Star category made it slightly more difficult because it excludes a lot of old timers.

Thanks, I’m really not. I reuse a lot of the same people on my grids and casually research old timey players so I have a good background and know what guys moved around a lot or hit certain milestones.
