    I thought it was 2775. I didn't buy one.

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.

    Price is set now: $2,865

  • I'm undecided but I might wait for it to go on backorder and then order. That should give me at least a few weeks to mull it over while I have the coin reserved. That is, if it doesn't go directly from in stock to sold out which also might happen.

They'll only be 12,500. Definitely a sell out, but not right away. Seems the gold burns slower than the silver.

    Waiting room only...provided by CloudFlare!

    Got my 3. Quite easy.
At 12500 mintage I think this is no brainer, and only $25 more than Proof Buffalo.

The "stocklevel" is not live (the U.S. Mint seems disabled that). So we cannot tell how how many coins left.......

  • BullsitterBullsitter Posts: 5,507 ✭✭✭✭✭

Good gosh, Pinehurst has 60 gold ones listed in NGC plastic only.

Does anyone have any idea how many gold have been sold?

The mint stopped the dynamic update of the "stocklevel"! Not sure why that was bothering them!

I might get one. Still available. This is my second favorite after the classic 2009. The 2015, 2017 and 2019 I wouldn’t buy. The 2021 is ok but I probably wouldn’t reach for my wallet.
That’s why they make 31 flavors.

I think you won't regret that. Sometimes we spend this much on one week travel here and there.
But this coin will last for generations........

Does anyone knew how long did the 2021 Liberty took to be declared "not available"?

Bad payment info, expired credit cards, computer glitches.... the sign should go up anytime..."REMIND ME"

Clue: keep refreshing the source page to reveal the lowest figure. It bounces between multiple servers with older/newer updates. I see 491 & 458... ;)

Glad I was able to easily order mine. Uneventful, thank goodness!

I only know the exact time because I was on the fence with this coin. First I thought, oh too much expense, it's kind of pretty though, then I thought, it really is a beautiful, outstanding coin and since I missed the galloping horse gold, I should get one. Logged in at 12:02, put one in my bag, looked at the description one last time, put in new CC info, finally clicked the final button BUY...lo and behold, it was gone. Looked at the time, it was 12:04. So I figure it blinked out at 12:03.

    Still in my bag...heh heh......

well we spend unnecessary money here and there. it's not a bad idea to buy what you love...especially if it's a beautiful coin like this one......
I ordered one and I will never sell it. I will give it to my niece (later in life) who will be born in few weeks. So it matches her birth-year.

Did not get the gold. I did not want to pay that high of a premium over the value of the gold. I bought the silver medal instead. I really like the design and feel that the silver is a cleaner (less cluttered) version of the design. Love it.

Both the Gold and the Silver are stunning.....I'm ordering the silver one in few days. Just waiting for my credit card to go into the next cycle. I paid a lot this week for the Gold liberty and 10 Peace/Morgan proofs.

Well lets see. Gold premium above melt: approx 33%
    Silver medal....approx: a whopping 350% above melt
