Some pretty cool coins have shown up in recent threads, so how about a thread for some more of the best?
Chopmarks, hobo nickels, counterstamps, love tokens, potty dollars, presentation pieces, parking lot finds...

This recently sold, i thought i bid enough at 400 figured that would be plenty, but alas…5 -

This is a "post mint" alteration to a genuine Kennedy Half Dollar (note the superimposed Eisenhower dollar image on the obverse, and the extra "S" mint mark between the 97):

Looks like we have some wildly different ideas about what qualifies as the "good stuff" when in comes to pmd... understandable, some won't touch it with a 20' pole, others collect nothing but.
Here's one that ended yesterday. I decided to drop out, but it's a great piece. Was hoping someone on the forum might have won?

@jayPem , The coin was probably stamped in South America in an unknown location, as it came from a collection of coins from South America. I would be interested if anyone has seen a similar counterstamp.

However, i suspect that this one was not carved on a genuine Morgan Dollar.
It is likely that it was struck that way on a non-silver blank (possibly in China).3 -

The original comment was tongue-in-cheek, in a thread meant to celebrate altered coins. Most folks who click on this thread probably understood the context and the comment.
