    An 1839-O RE half dollar, especially mid-grade, is a great coin to own. It may be my favorite regular issue in US numismatics.

    Thanks for your kind words, @mirabella. I really like that nickel a lot, too.

    I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
