I love the tiny sized $1 Liberty head gold Type 1 coins that would disappear into your nostril if you inhaled too hard.
Kindly excuse the terrible photography because coins look way better in hand.
How I wish my 1849 open wreath with no "L" rescued from jewelry was from Charlotte mint.
I always wanted a proof Mercury and finally bought this pretty one. I like the liquid pastel colors when I turn it under light.
This half dime has crisp prooflike surfaces.
I enjoy the clashing and the deep original skin on this gold dollar -- in hand it almost looks like it's got a fine coat of algae.
Call me crazy but if I had to pick one favorite coin out of my whole collection ... it's just an honest old circulated collector coin, handed down over the generations from one hobbyist to another.
Currency 1982 West African States 5000 CFA Francs - this IMO is a wonderful rendition of African art (subject is the Taku, and used as a gold weight measure in previous centuries, and is a stylized version of an actual fish related to sawfish)
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.

@Floridafacelifter I find them hard to resist as well. The only thing holding me back is the finances to own them.

Stole this from Dave. @drddm One of my favorites
Then you should give it back. 😳
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
I had to look up that nickel -- wow! To judge by the photos, that is the nicest one I've ever seen in that grade. Great coin!
One of my favorites I’ve shared before. Thought it was worth another look.

One of my favorites. Coin now with a sticker.
An 1839-O RE half dollar, especially mid-grade, is a great coin to own. It may be my favorite regular issue in US numismatics.
