I spent a half hour on the phone last night. There was a problem at the mint. I even got the same person who delt with Burnie Posts, remembered your situation, their fault, our problem. She said I could return one. Ahhhhhh how sweet. I informed her that was something that was not going to happen because it takes forever. It was decided, after 10 minutes on hold, that phoning 3-4 days ahead of release and confirming the amount was about as good as it was going to get.
So, Mr. James, thanks for being a US Mint customer and is there anything else she could do for me? You guys would have been proud as I just said no and politely thanked her. šš¦«š

Curious - what was the "their fault" part of it?
Did they mistakenly honor the "new" enrollments for 2022, when it was really meant to open up for 2023, per their original email? Did they just reset everybody back to prior to the 7/8 email (that I got anyway) saying the enrollments were open? (or the 8/2 "confirm your acct info" email)?
i'm starting to think they messed up and treated all ASE-S enrollments as applicable to this year, the more I think about it, and backed off that.
I'd just like to know if I need to be online and order tomorrow at noon. I might just have to do that anyway, and return any "extras".

I have heard that an enrollment on another issue was shipped even after the active check mark was removed. Enrolled beware
Happened to my son, he had to return 100 ASE Ws because they did not honor his "cancel." The best way to ensure an enrollment has been cancelled and does not get processed and shipped is to ALSO remove your credit card info sometime prior to them processing the enrollments. Then, prior to your next mint purchase, restore your CC info.

Yes, I think they screwed up teasing us about the 2022-S being part of the enrollment. Unless you get an e-mail before it goes on sale letting you know you will be getting the coin, it may be best to go online at noon. Good luck.

My enrollments now say TBD as well? Is that normal a couple days before? Or did they really screw up and oversell?
That means it is reset for next year. If you were getting coins this year there would be a new order that shows enrollment shipped on your order history for the 2022 coins. If not be ready tomorrow if you want any.

THE SAGA CONTINUES !!!! ALWAYS REMEMBER "THE MINT IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL GET"
When they run a reset it usually goes back to the original quantity ordered before enrollments were closed or is reduced if the order limit is reduced. It also look like they discovered the 2022s were on the new enrollments when they should not have been and took them out of play.
If you do not see a new order in your history that says "enrollment shipped" with the 2022 info you will need to be ready at 12:00 tomorrow. If a lot of the enrollments were cancelled in time they may be available for a few hours or longer. HAPPY HUNTING TO ALL !

Weird... I haven't received this email but I don't have any new orders either. š¤
Last week they told me I was enrolled for 2022 S, and today they said oops, not until 2023, which is where it started when I enrolled last July 8 for 2023. Well I guess I am back to ordering on the mint site tomorrow. Confusing, but hopefully smooth in 2023, though I did notice I now have two enrollments for the Uncirculated version. I need to check my enrollments again, the list seems longer.

Sorry everyone...but I last the thread here...
Did the mintage change at the last minute...or did the Mint mess up the enrollment process...or both?
Original 2022 enrollments are good and most have shipped or are processing. People who signed up for enrollments for 2023 and thought they would also get the 2022s also were told ānever mind ā our mistake.
Product limit for govt packaging and COA is 200,000
Mintage limit is none because it will eventually be determined by how many 40 coin trays the bulk purchasers buy and if it is included in another product

So, let me see if I understand this correctly.
If you enrolled, you were allowed to order 25
If you purchase on Tuesday, 8/9/2022, the HHL is 3
Do I got this right?
Yes. But you will be able to buy as many as you want at noon on Wednesday, 8/10, or shortly thereafter.
The modest premium the Big Boys are pre-selling PR70s for indicates they were able to buy as many as they want, so there will be no competition from them for whatever is made available tomorrow. That also means there will be no bot attack at noon tomorrow. Finally, all the flippers here are racing to cancel their subscriptions, and will be returning what they were unable to cancel, since there is no flip at $73 when PR70s are available for $125.
As with the 2 prior ASEs this year, you will be able to buy whatever you want directly from the Mint before they finally sell out, so don't worry about it. The Mint is actually playing this just right. These are limited enough to be collectable, but available enough to both satisfy demand from the Big Boys and also extinguish demand from the sneaker selling bot crowd.
My prediction is that thousands will be available tomorrow and you will be able to easily buy 3. Whether or not they sell out tomorrow, more will become available, with no ordering limit, when the returns come back in the days and weeks ahead, before they finally sell out.
@NJCoin
Thanks for the good summary for those who have not kept up with this thread or those who are just tuning in today for the release. It summarizes what has been said for weeks now and predictions that have been apparent for months. What a saga this has been.

Interesting. I received confirmation for order of 3 via enrollment in early August, changed enrollment to 1, no further emails from mint. Don''t know if I am getting 1, 3 or 0. Not going to order more today.
