Let me know how cancellations works out because I’m pretty dang sure ( willing to place a small wager on it) that there’s no cancellation but you will be told about their lovely return policy. 😉🦫🙀
I couldn’t remove 1 from my enrollment because it was processing. Thanks 😺

"PROCESSING" includes several processes in the order system. Checking available inventory, confirmation of HHL, confirmation of payment info, selection of shipment method and printing of shipping label. There could be delays between these steps that lasts hours or days or longer. If it has not progressed to the point where a shipping label is about to be print they should be able to cancel the order. The same goes for Amazon, Target or any other retailer. Usually the rep will will ask you to hold while they confirm the order is at a point where it can be cancelled. As many have posted here, with this release it progressed to shipping within hours thus preventing cancellations of new orders and the time frame for enrollments passed days ago.

As I believe I saw this happen before, watch for the possibility that this coin may pop up at 12:00 with the HOL removed.

As I have Sometimers, I am not 100% sure. :'(

I was interrupted at 12:00 and did not see if any were available before 12:04, however the HOL is now removed for when they become available again.

Pine hurst is paying $78 for the 2022S you have to start a purchase order to find out what the terms are
Such as sealed mint shipping box and shipping. If you send it first class mail you might break $1 in profit

I am not a regular buyer of Mint direct products. I placed my order yesterday at 12:00. My order still states processing. If other got to a shipping status quickly, makes me wonder why mine hasn't reached that stage.

There are a lot to ship and it will take a day or two before all the shipping labels are printed. It could also be a day or two after you get the shipping notice before it get to the carrier for it’s journey to you. Enjoy your coin when you receive it.

Also still Processing here. I can wait, no prob. They're probably dealing with the enrollments 1st.
My CC has been charged (pending).
I also reduced my enrollments for 2023 from 5 down to my previously-typical 2 (* before all the limited production, hurry get your order in by noon, nonsense).

I'm anticipating that a lot of these will be back on sale. Credit card denials, cancellations, and returns. Plus, who knows? Maybe there was a small stash hidden by the Mint!

I am in Central, but my mail carrier does not come until late in the day. I am at the point where if I even get it close to the day I'm supposed to, I'm happy. Gotta love the USPS!!

It appears that when they ran their enrollment verification and reset it went back to what was originally entered before enrollments were closed. Reductions worked before but it seems they changed it for the uncirculated and S ASEs because of all the attempted cancellations. They are sending a message to flippers who enroll for larger quantities then try to reduce when it becomes obvious there will be little or no profit in flipping. BUYER BEWARE AS THE MINT IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES. B)

I completely and respectfully disagree with your assertions about the US Mint (a Gov't Agency) somehow fighting back against the flippers. The US Mint does not care who buys their products - just as long as they sell product (that keeps their evals high & those annual bonus's in their check coming - YES, US Gov't employees receive BONUS's for doing a crappy job - believe me - I KNOW!)

Bottom line is...that serious collectors did not hype this up and thus this release and all 2022 ASE's were a flop overall - especially compared to last year.

I've been collecting for just over 25 years. I sometimes buy more than I need to help pay for other coins I want. I've had a 25 coins subscription for a number of years, for AE Proofs . For some reason my subscription ended up being for all AE Proofs! I don't need that many 😄

You missed the point. They are not fighting them because they are flippers but because of the enrollment orders they place and cancel and return orders after a non sell out places an additional burden on their business. If people did that to my business I would not accept canceling or returning.

And I completely and respectfully disagree with you! :) The US Mint certainly does care about who and why people buy its product, because numismatic items generate huge profits. Some evidence of this lies in the way they have aggressively raised prices in the past few years in order to capture more of the premium the market assigns to certain items.

Far greater evidence lies in how they addressed the concerns of the Big Boys by allowing them to buy bulk trays of ASEs outside the mintage made available to the rest of us. THIS is what collapsed the secondary market for these, not the absence of hype from serious collectors. It is also evidence that the Mint cares about their best customers. Not us, but the Big Boys, and listened to their concerns about being forced into the after market to buy hot issues. Without them bidding up prices, there is no big flip for anyone.

The Mint literally sold several hundred thousand of each at huge premiums over intrinsic value. Since the Big Boys got what they need directly from the Mint, that left several hundred thousand for the rest of us, which was more than enough, not only to sell out, but also to destroy the flip. Win-win-win for everyone, other than non-Big Boy flippers and bots.

I also disagree about the inability to cancel enrollments being a message to flippers, unless the Mint refuses to accept their returns. That was nothing more than a side effect of the screw up that included reopening the closed enrollment, and then canceling those orders for this year.

It was a system issue, not a message. Why send a message that is going to now cost them more in shipping coins and then processing returns? Over enrollments will end when people realize easy flips on annual issues are a thing of the past, not because this glitch, this year, is going to force people to return coins they couldn't cancel.

Question for those who have received their shipments. I received my order for three sets today. My preference is to keep the Mint carton sealed and put it away for now. My issue is the weight. My carton with three sets weighs .75 pounds. It "feels" a bit light to me. I checked ebay and a sealed carton on the one listing for three weighs 1.15 pounds. A sealed carton for one set weighs .45 pounds. My obvious concern is I may have been short-shipped but I cannot validate without opening unless others here can share their experience.

Has anyone else received a sealed carton of three? If so, what was the weight?

    Concerned in California,

    Tim

I also have a smaller box than you appreat to have as well. So it seems to depend on what box and packing they used.

Different size boxes and weights make it more confusing and difficult for people who are saving or selling sealed mint boxes. 😧

Just got my 3. USPS, brown cardboard box.
    8 3/8" x 6 1/8" x 2 1/4"
~.735lb, 11.76oz (scale I got from Omaha Steaks for measuring portions)
I wonder if it depends what they pack it with? Mine was bubble wrap, not paper.
