1864 Abraham Lincoln Civil War Token - Brockage Error - Brass - Fuld-131 Patriotic CWT - Ex. Wayne Stafford, Q. David Bowers Reference Collection, Steve Hayden (inv)

I love that Lincoln Error @Zoins The metal movement looks so cool

This is what makes this piece so fascinating to me. On both sides!

Reminds me a bit of my avatar die trial too :)

I agree. Which image is more like in hand? TV’s look a little dark.

That's very observant. The TrueView is actually very dark for this piece. It looks closer to @SteveHayden's photo. The obverse is quite reflective which may account for how dark it looks in the TV. It also makes it difficult to get quite the right look just putting the images into Photoshop. For example, when capturing the light just right, the field on the obverse is super reflective and looks even brighter than Steve's photos, like a proof, but then the bust isn't as bright as the fields.

Given how dark it is in the TV, I might not have gone for it if it was the photo available, but I'm glad I did.

1971 Pacific Coast Numismatic Society Anniversary Silver. I so much love the architectural depiction of The Palace of Fine Arts in San Fransisco.... I need a 2015 silver one now @Zoins o:)

Wow, that's awesome! I just have a bronze of that year.

Mine's slabbed by NGC. I hope PCGS will slab these too!

If it was tv’d not to long ago I would pm Phil and ask him to correct it. I had a feeling it wasn’t
anywhere near that dark or color.

I just received my 2021 proof set from the mint. It's really nice. I'd post pictures but I don't think it is necessary to do so.

Very pretty gold. I always liked the design

Not nearly as expensive as saints (0.19oz.) but really hard to find in nice condition.
My average is 1/yr. Maybe sometime around 2034 I'll have all 16 :D

Kind of the opposite problem I had with saints. (I could find nice ones faster than I could buy them)
With Marianne/Roosters, they just aren't there.
