I posted this previously when I purchased it but received it from DLRC today. It's just stunning. I just wish my photography skills were up to the task.
Beautiful Obverse and a reverse pic would be appreciated as it is a "CC".

Not technically a new purchase, but I submitted it for reholdering and a trueview (didn't have one when I bought it), and it popped today! Beyond happy with the coin, picked it up from VDB Coins.
Was hoping to upgrade to an AU55 or AU58 but it's a tough market right now for this CC. I Just secured this in AU53 from Sarasota Numismatics. Thanks to Ben for the great deal:

Sorry to quote myself but one of the things that attracted me to this coin was the provenance. Certainly wish I could have paid $600 today for it:

Thanks @Zoins! Definitely not a coincidence. I'm a huge Washington fan. I collect many things related to his life/legacy in addition to coins. On the numismatic side, I came up with the idea to collect "The Coins of George Washington". So, I am pursuing coins from his lifetime (1732-1799) that either have a direct connection to him, or represent important years from his life. This is a way for me to have some fun with world, colonial, and federal early American coins, and to to do so in a fashion that comes with some sort of theme that matters to me.
The coin above was selected because it is from his birth year (obviously) and also because it was issued by Great Britain, and at the time of his birth, G.W. was a British subject.
