it really is - had never posted abt a coin before it arrived until earlier this year, and then it caused a cascade of issues originating from that purchase - never again # 🤐
The price is killing me but it's all crypto profit or doubling and tripling what we bought six and eighteen months ago. I pulled wealth out along the way and I guess bought way more so I'm doing it again. Lol.
Working on a gold bullion submission for PCGS Gold Shield. Got some maples I want verified and secured.
Found this 2015 reverse proof gold maple 1/10oz NGC PF70. Has the e=mc^2 privy and fancy slab. Had no idea they even made these and couldn't find any others so I bought it. Was $220 shipped so a pretty easy decision.
I wish this was a 300BLK AR pistol but I'm still working on that.

Picked up this ugly little flying eagle off eBay, arrived today. It'll be on its way to PCGS when things calm down, I'm guessing somewhere between VF and XF Detail.

Why do I like your coin so much Ben?
Coins are actually tools for commerce and your FEC looks like it did it's job +.

In this case, the FE is an S-7, the obverse clashed with a $20 double eagle. It's a very rare variety, and I managed to pick it up unattributed. Someday I hope to find one that will straight grade, but for now, this is the best I've done.

This was part of a collection likely assembled between the 50’s and 70’s that was all kept in envelopes for decades before the entire collection was graded and sold a couple years ago. PC45 CAC.
I bought my first piece of platinum. Just gonna sell the (very nice braided screw top) bezel and enjoy a cheap coin.
I'm guessing it's gonna end up a super dinged piece bc the photos sucked with no reverse pic, purchased from an estate type ebayer. But I've been pleasantly surprised before.
I see the rim is protected. I wanna believe the piece has a clear covering over the front and back. It appears taken care of.
If not that's ok, I'm fine with this being my first piece of platinum. The more I look at it, the more I wanna just wear it, too.

Your quarter and Walker are super nice, too! Looking very good. An attractive set for sure. The 25c has "that look" of quarters I started on when I was a kid. How cool.
